After 5 years of daily use by an HD mechanic, my headlamp failed. Shortly after I discovered that coast has customer service that parallels the quality of their products. They replaced my lamp in short order and even made sure I had the right one sent (I made a mistake filling out the form).
I won't buy anything else.

Needed! when working in low lighting or the dark. I use a flash light to find the HL7R when working in the dark or low light conditions. I can use one hand to put on & operate all functions. Which is great when working, hiking, camping, fishing, or in an emergency situation.

I have owned and used daily several of the HL7R headlamps. I have had small issues with these units which have always been handled VERY WELL through the warranty process. Nothing is perfect in this world but this company works hard to mark things right. That being said I will continue to be a faithful customer far into the future.

The headlight is nice and bright! We really like the sliding power adjuster! That’s a very nice feature!!
The focus feature seems to be made a little cheaply… seems to have a little play.
Overall, we are happy with it!

Its a good broght light that i like everything about, except the small headband. I have the headband maxed out and can only wear it for short periods because its to small.
