I BOUGHT THIS PHONE OVER A YEAR AGO, AND WITHIN THE LAST FEW MONTHS I HAVE A RUBBED SPOT ON MY SCREEN. IT IS LIKE THE TOP LAYER OF GLASS HAS RUBBED AWAY. JUST IN ONE SPOT. I GUESS THE SPOT YOU ALWAYS USE TO SCAN THRU SCREENS. I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.

I Hate This Phone

This is the worst Android based phone I've ever owned. It's slow, especially the camera. Picture quality is pretty poor. Apps crash fairly frequently. I have to reboot fairly often as the phone will completely lock up. It frequently refuses to post to Facebook and Twitter. It just tries and tries and .. The screen holds fingerprints more than any phone I've ever owned. I have to clean the screen constantly.
There are several other phones in the same price range. I'd strongly consider one of those.

Poor Design/Technology

First time using LG brand phone with the X Venture. I have called 911 six time in last month on accident. I have to make an effort to make sure the screen is facing away from my leg so not to call 911 again. My experience with touch screen phone is once locked, you can't use it unless you type pass code. I am not sure how my "smart" leg manages to get to e-call and dial 911. The location of the speaker is horrible. I usually set my phone done with back side down so not to scratch the screen and hearing the ring is bad with speaker down. Last couple of weeks, I get "Slow charge, make sure you are using original charger" message. I always use original charger. This is my fist time using LG Brand phone....NEVER AGAIN!!!

Water resistance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my LG X venture. Bought it for its toughness,long battery life,32GB memory and especially its dust and water resistance. I live on a canal in Bayou Vista Tx. and lost a Samsung phone when my dock caved in The camera is not that important to me but it does take good photos. I have a wi-fi DSLR camera. I use an app on my phone to transfer photos from my camera to my phone and also use my phone as a remote for the camera. I set the camera on a tripod outside and sit in my living room waiting for birds to feed and drink then take the photo with my phone. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I like the device. The are three problems with device. 1. Rear camera sucks. It lack stabilizers. Pics always come in blurry in low light or if I take them. 2. Lacks root or customized features. 3. Its slow and lags maybe due to the lack ram or its running 32 bit build. On 64 bit processor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone is decent for the amount I paid for it, cheaper than the Samsung s8 and not as good but it's ok. Texting can be slow going since the keyboard senses the key below the key I type and auto correct and word suggestions are just bizarre and useless- just get used to typing everything out yourself if you want it correct. It also doesn't display music information over Bluetooth when paired to my stereo but it does play just fine. Like I said, it does the job so I can't complain too much.
