AFTER ONLY 5 USES THE TOP SECTION BROKE OFF, THE CONNECTING PINS ARE MADE OF HARD PLASTIC AND BOTH SIDES BROKE APART. IT DID A GOOD JOB WHILE IT LASTED BUT DID NOT LAST LONG, WE HAVE NO KIDS ONLY TWO ADULTS IN THEIR 50S.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed

Glad to see im not the only one with issues. Tried making waffles for me and my 2 sons and the waffle stuck bad to wear im scrappi g it off. We were all very disappointed with the Black & Decker waffle maker. Never again will i get one

POOR QUALITY!!!

I bought this about 2 hours ago got home and was super excited to use it, put the batter in and when it was finished I opened it and the waffle was stuck to the plates. You need a crowbar to get the batter off... non-stick my ... It took an 3 hours to clean, a complete nightmare, next time get the more expensive version.

WORKED ONE DAY! NON-STICK COATING OFF

Got this for Christmas and used it once (worked okay.. Wasn't the greatest) Tried to use it again 7 days later and all of the non stick coating started coming off onto the waffles. What a waste! Better get a refund!

hinge retainer clips

I bought this not too long ago and tried it out this weekend! Waffles came out done pretty well, the batter didnt overflow, and the cleanup was easy. Read the instructions and enjoy your product.

We purchased our first Belgium Waffle Iron over 10 years ago. Granted, we only use it once a week. So when it "bit the dust" we knew we needed a new one. Thanks to Black and Decker, our new one arrived and is being appreciated very much. It is the only way to make waffles.
