Broke after using it once

I was in the middle of making a batch of waffles for the first time with this waffle iron and it stopped heating up. Tried again a week later and it is not heating up at all even though the light is coming on when plugged in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke hinges but still works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My waffle maker is 20+ years old but the hinges broke many years ago. Would be nice to find resigned replacement parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hinges broke almost immediately

Makes great waffles but both hinges broke on second and third time using. Brand new and broke right away…very disappointed in the design as this doesn’t seem like an isolated issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
