Daughter Loves it!

She is crazy about Barbie, and since the Dreamhouse was added to her collection she hasn't stopped playing with it. The elevator is one of her favorite parts. Product structure is nice and sturdy, very pretty, and keeps her entertained. I would however make some of the pieces a little bit more stronger because some look frail, but other than this she loves this.

Every Little Girls Dream House

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect dream house for any girl ages ranging from 3 and up. My daughter is 4 and she absolutely loves it! She spends hours a day playing pretend which builds her creativity and imagination. Not only is this a great toy for playing, but also for learning. My daughter has many playdates with different age children ranging from 1-8 and even different gender. Even the one year old has fun, we just keep the small pieces away. Even though I say every little girls dream, it also is made for boys. My one year old son loves to play with the barbies and look at all the decoration in the house. It is so realistic and so modern. There are many new upgrades from the older dream houses back in my day. The house is very durable and sturdy. I would highly recommend this house!

Impressive features and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember having a Barbie dream house when I was little. Although I don't remember a lot of the specific features I remember feeling special that I had this really nice toy and remember playing with it a lot!
The dream house comes in its original box with a large, color picture of the contents. Keep that in mind if you order this and the recipient lives at the delivery address.
I wanted my daughter to be in awe when she saw it. So my husband and I put it together when she was sleeping. It took us about 30-45 minutes to assemble. There are directions, and a ginormous picture on the front of the box for reference. It's not difficult, the pieces snap together and they don't really let you do it wrong. There is a ton of accessories right down to food and cookware. We had fun playing with it before my daughter woke up. This is a large toy, that takes up a lot of space so have an idea where you will be putting it before it comes because it doesn't fold up for storage.
When I daughter woke up and ventured in the living room she first gasped and just stared for a minute. She was definitely in awe. She didn't know where to start. She picked up a lot of things to look and inspect. we showed her how some of the things work (she's four). She loved the elevator. The interactive counter/island is pretty cool. It will travel to different rooms for different functions. For example the toilet flushes, the fan rotates and the aquarium bubbles and the fish 'swim'.
The living room has a tv that you can slide your smart phone in and play a show for Barbie and her friends. Barbie is definitely become part of the tech world.
There is working garage door and the side of the garage comes down and doubles as a pool. This is probably my least favorite feature. My daughter of course wants to put water in it so Barbie can swim. Which can be a little messy in your living room. I would also like to see this come with a car, not even one with all the bells and whistles. Just something so that the whole house can be used at once when given to the child. Instead of going out to buy a car.
I don't think it's necessary to include a Barbie. By the time your child receives this they have probably accumulated quite a collection of dolls.
I think this is worth the monetary investment. This is a toy that will be used for several years, not just one season. It may also be used through several children if you have children of varying ages. I think for plastic it's pretty sturdy and will endure years of play. There is also great attention to detail. My daughter is really enjoying this!

Best Upgrade of the Barbie Dream House.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie dream house is so huge...This dream house is a a very fun upgrade from the one I brought my daughter in 2013. It has so many rooms and is very detailed. Barbie now have a garage, a attach pool, and a tv that any device can be inserted. My daughter uses her ipod to watch shows with her barbies. This dream house is definitely a eye catcher for all the barbie fans.

Every Barbie Lover's Dream

As a mother now, I have had so much fun watching my young girls play and can only imagine how much fun they will have as they get older. Where to begin? The house is three stories tall and each story has its own unique and fun features. The house comes with many accessories your child will enjoy playing with over and over again. My children enjoying playing with the "smart" accessories that make different realistic
sounds and light up. We also love the working elevator that can go from the ground floor to the top floor. Another great feature is the "TV" that includes a space for your smart phone so that Barbie can enjoy a movie and relax. The playhouse comes with so many great accessories and furniture pieces that really makes this dollhouse come alive. I am excited for the years of the fun that I know this will bring. AMAZING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked when we received this from Mattel for the play rate review. My daughter had been given the Barbie house from a friend who had received it back in the early 90's. It was in rough condition, but my daughter loved it either way. You can imagine her disappointment when I told her it was time to get rid of it. Little did she know she was getting a new one. She was so excited when I revealed the box to her and we started putting it together immediately. Her impatience grew as it took longer and longer to put together. It took about an hour total which was very unexpected. In the end it was a very pretty doll house and she started playing with it right away. She plays with it every day and shows it to every one who comes over. This is by far her favorite toy right now.
Pros: High quality, Durable, amazing accessories, makes sounds for accessories, fun to play with
Cons: takes a long time to assemble

My dreamhouse!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dreamhouse is GIGANTIC. It took me and my husband about 40 minutes to put it together, although truth be told, we were playing with some of the cool stuff that it came with.
My daughters just about went crazy when they first saw the house. My youngest is 5 and it is as tall as she is. She thought it was her own personal house.
Some of the really cool accessories that were included was a fish tank that lit up, the sink makes water sounds, and i think the fan, that actually moves was everybodys favorite part.
The only problem we had with the house was that one of the pieces on the garage was off a little bit so it didnt really close as smoothly as i would have liked. My husband took some sandpaper and smoothed the area up and it closes just fine now.
One of the really neat aspects of the house was the flip down pool. Although my girls got in trouble for actually putting water in it without asking and made a complete mess, but it was really cute. Next time we will have them pretend play in the pool. They had about 8 of their dolls in the house at once.
The elevator was another big hit with my girls. Their pretend play in this dreamhouse is amazing and it allows them to have actual real things in their pretend world.
I would highly recommend this to anyone with little girls who love imaginary play. My girls have not grown tired of this at all . Such a big hit in my house with 3 girls running around.
