My daughter loves it

We bought this for my 6 year old this Christmas. We love everything about it except for the elevator. The cord is too long and gets stuck and she has to guide it up and down every time. This was after her dad had to shorten it and oil it up. For the price of this house the biggest feature should work properly
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this in Nov 2016 for my 4 year old. She loves it. It has held up so far, but there are a few issues we are having. The garage door gets stuck half way up. My daughter gets frustrated and tries to force it, and I am afraid she will break it completely soon. The biggest issue though is the elevator. It does not run smoothly. It gets stuck at random intervals. The string inside is loose, but there is no way to take the track apart to restring it. My daughter still loves the house and plays with it regularly. I however would like the moving parts to work reliably.

For almost $200 I got a dream house which really looked like an abandoned building with cracks all over it. Can't return so now I'm out almost $200

Bought last year for Christmas. Broken elevator, garage door falls off. Certainly not worth the cost. The girls have not used it at all. Would have returned it but threw out box and receipt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this, She loved it from the moment she has seen it. It is a beautiful house and the details are magnificent. I find myself wanting to play with it. What I do not like it the quality, The could def improve the quality of the elevator. That has been broken since taking it out of the box. She still plays with it. It still looks nice.
Cons: Not durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls ages 11 and 5 absolutely love their new Barbie house. The instructions were easy to read and it didn't take very long to put together. The pieces went together easily and it's sturdier than I expected. They love all the kitchen accessories and especially the elevator. It works well and seems well designed to handle lots of use. The pool that flips down off the garage was an added bonus they love as well. All 3 of my girls will get lots of use out of this for years to come.
My MIL bought this house for my daughter for Christmas. For the most part it has been a dream come true. It does take a little time to put it all together and I recommend using the instructions to reduce time putting it together. There are a lot of little pieces. If you have a younger child (ours is 3 so we did this) that you sort through the small pieces and decide with ones you would like them to have (read as what you want to keep track of) and what you want to hold in reserve for a later time. My daughter's favorite feature is the flushy doll potty. There is a known issue with the elevator where the sting comes off of the pully fairly easily after a while. This is caused because the string stretches out with use. It is an easy fix once it happens you can take it apart with a screw driver and short the string. since I did this I have had no issues. There is a pieceof the garage at the top that falls off a lot but meh it isn't important to function. I loved that the doll house came fully furnished and that you can use a phone in the tv for your dolls to watch shows.
