[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when I took this product out of the box it was a lot of assembly but in the end I new this was one of the best products I've bought it was worth every dollar I spent

Frustrated

I bought this for my Granddaughters for Christmas. They were so excited to get it. That's all they had on their list! However, I'm so frustrated if it hadn't taken so much to assemble it, I'd return it! That would break their hearts but we have had so many issues. First, the stickers just won't stay put; The garage door continually gets stuck and has to be forced up. The girls can't park their Barbie convertible in it because they're afraid that they will break it; The toilet does not make any sounds; We've changed batteries and still can't make the smart accessories work. My husband has had to check the elevator several times because it keeps getting stuck.
It's a beautiful Dream House! Even with all the problems, I have to admit the girls spend hours playing with what does work. I can only imagine how entertained they would be if we could get it fully functional. I'm so surprised that a Dream House with the Mattel name on it is becoming such a nightmare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken Elevator/ No Stickers

Bought this for Christmas and the elevator is broken/ jams 9/10 times and it did not come with any of the stickers it was supposed to. Not worth the money.

Disappointed disabled Mom

I know for some people it’s not a lot, but as a single Mom of 2, permanently disabled with a brain tumor, it took me over a year saving to buy this for my little girl. Unfortunately, we’ve had quite a few small issues(stickers not staying on, the fridge door won’t stay shut) and 2 big problems since we put it together. The garage door has a spot where it sticks so you literally have to force it to open, which has basically turned me into a human garage door opener since she’s afraid to break it. And even though I’ve already changed the batteries twice, the “smart table” just stopped working altogether today. I am very disappointed that something with as much history as the Barbie Dream House hasn’t been much of a dream at all.

Elevator

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas.i put it together on Christmas morning and by the end of the the day, the elevator had broke. The string keeps getting cought. If had to fix about 4 times since then. I played alot of money for this product and I was hoping it would be more durable.

CHRISTMAS GIFT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week before Christmas and put it together fir my grand daughter on December 27 and by December 30 the elevator had already stopped working. The string would get stuck and then would go slow and now it does not do anything. This dollhouse cost a lot of money for everything not to function properly…

One very upset girl on Christmas day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my 9 year old daughter ..disappointed to say the least ..kitchen unit is all buckled and the doors wont close properly also the lift doesn't work properly keeps catchin and jammimg ..garage door is stiff an keeps sticking ..for the price we paid I expected it to at least work properly

Christmas present

I put this together in 2.5 hours instructions not easy to follow. The chandelier broke after install. The toilet does not make sounds every time and hard to attach properly. Fitting loosely. The garage door sticks and you have to use your hand at bottom and lever to lift open. Have not used elevator yet. Really bummed considering price.
