A toy that brings me back to my childhood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I felt my daughter was finally old enough to appreciate Barbie dolls, I thought this would be a great opportunity to get her a Barbie Dreamhouse. I was not disappointed in this choice. As a parent in was excited to see the Dreamhouse came with a lot of accessories and furniture. At this price point I would be disappointed if I had to spend a ton in addition to the price of the house to furnish it. The "smart accessories" were an extra great touch.
This dollhouse is big. While it does take up a lot of space I find that there is no wasted space in the setup. I enjoy that the garage gives me a space to store my daughter's Barbie car.
I was intimidated initially by the setup, but it was easier than I anticipated. I appreciated the fact the many of the prices snapped together without a need for screws.
My daughter loves her Barbie Dreamhouse. She enjoys decorating the house over and over again. She also enjoys pretending with her dolls as she moves them throughout the house. I can tell she will enjoy this for many years.

Best Barbie House Ever!

We had gotten the last Barbie house (the one with 2 elevators) and attempted to assemble it Christmas eve and it was horrible. It took us 3 hours and a youtube video to get it together. This one seemed SO much easier. The directions were easy to follow and all the pieces fit together easily. This house is adorable. My daughters absolutely loved the little garage and all the sound effects this house has. The sound effects are a little loud but the girls love it. It came with so much stuff. Some of the pieces are kind of small, like typical Barbie houses, so I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 3. But my daughters who are almost 4 and 8 both love this house. Neither of them want to play with the old house anymore. I highly recommend it!!
Pros: High quality, not difficult to assemble, adorable, lots of accessories, sound effects

This Dreamhouse is AMAZING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dreamhouse is AMAZING! It's got everything you might need for Barbie (minus the car). This house towers at 4 ft tall and 3 ft wide. It's taller than my daughter! She loves that she is right on level with the top floor so she feels a part of Barbie's world. The house is very sturdy. It is simple to put up and take back down for storage if necessary. It does have some weight to it so my daughter can't pick it up and move it. There are so many pieces that came with it, too. Barbie has food, some accessories, kitchen/table ware, linens, ect. We also love that the toilet/fishtank/fan all work and make noises/motions/lights. My daughter has so much fun with this and can't wait to play with it every day. I have to say - Mommy loves to play, too!
Pros: High quality, Durable, big - 4ft tall 3ft wide, so many accessories included, feels very sturdy

Where do I begin?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The house is BIG. I know it's advertised that way, but you don't really realize it until you build it. My daughters face when she saw it was priceless! Every little girls dream come true. The house has 3 stories and comes fully furnished, very detailed I must add which is a plus. It also has an elevator, garage and a pool among other things. There is something that we both liked, which was the "TV" stand. You can put your phone inside the stand to turn your phone screen into the TV screen. It's a nice detail that you don't see in other products. This dreamhouse provides hours of fun not only for the child but for us mommies as well. We definitely recommend this house to everyone.

Best Barbie House!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set-up of the Barbie house wasn't as time-consuming as I thought it would be initially, just by looking at the box and all the parts. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes overall to complete. The part I dislike the most is the stickers, I feel it would be best without the stickers, perhaps airbrushed or something would be a better option, the stickers end up with creases and things and then you cannot get them off without destroying them. Otherwise set up is fairly simple, you just pop most the parts in place. The quality is not the greatest; the pieces of plastic are quite flimsy. My younger children have already popped a few pieces out of place but my older child does really well with it. The internal features however are amazing. The house is loaded with tons of accessories and fun working items. Upstairs in the living room area there is a place for a real cell phone so you can actually use a cell phone and watch live, just by placing the phone in the holder. This is great for the kids to put on some Netflix cartoons and play on a Saturday morning. There are also tons of little features like the hangers and the closet area, the pet room, and the bathroom has a real flushing sound for the toilet. The toilet is my kid’s favorite feature of the house. The sounds are also very clear and very realistic.There is a vanity that you can also change out for different motioned accessories such as a sink, fan, a fish tank, and even a grill. I was a little disappointed in this set up that one base works everything and you have to change it out. I would rather have all the "working" accessories separately so that they didn't have to be swapped but just more interactive around the home itself. The problem is if you want to use the base as a grill, you no longer have the sink vanity. The elevator and the garage door is the best feature, it uses a nice slider for opening and makes it really user friendly and easy to open. On the side there is a window that transforms into a pool and it can really hold water! However I recommend use of this feature for an older child because not only can it be very messy in the home, but because the top portion of the home is cardboard and it can get wet and with enough moisture overtime you can risk ruining it. Overall besides the lack of durability with construction, and the smart features lack of versatility, I think this house is amazing. It is loaded with tons of fun and features for hours of play and my kids just love all the sounds and features this Barbie house has to offer.
Pros: lots of features, lots of accessories, fun, interactive, trendy, good sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put together this Barbie Dreamhouse in about an hour and so far it has provided hours of entertainment for my almost 4 year old. She was enamored with the impressive grandness of the house before she was even able to get her hands on it! She loves that the accessories snap into the tables, counters, etc making them easy to play with without the worry of knocking the small pieces everywhere. There are lots of accessories for the kitchen, bathroom, and closet. She will be playing with this for a while before she even gets through using everything! The house is also large enough that two, maybe three, kids could easily play together. So far this has been a fun edition to our playroom. The only thing I wish I had done differently was put the stickers on before assembling the Barbie Dreamhouse.

Tons of Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took about an hour or so for my husband to put the Dream House together. An additional 1/2 hour to place all the stickers.
Parts of the house were a bit difficult to put together - the elevator and the garage, specifically, but overall, the house is of good quality, and seems quite durable. It definitely requires parental assistance to set up. Its size meets expectations, and is easy for kids to use.
The elevator and garage door could be smoother in their operation, but function as intended.
My daughters were thrilled with the house from the moment they saw the box. The completed size is terrific. Each accessory has great detail and adds to their hours of play.
Overall this is a great product, meets and exceeds expectations and is very much enjoyed by my daughters.
Way to go, Barbie!!

My Daughter LOVES this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I walked in the door and my daughter exclaimed, look what the mail man brought for me!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled all the pieces out. It was very easy to put together and was able to do it rather quickly. Never having a barbie house myself, i was surprised how big it was once built. My daughter couldn't wait to get playing with it and gathered her barbies while we were building it. She played with it for hours and didn't want to go to bed. First thing in the morning, she was right back at it. I love seeing her imagination and story telling as she plays with the dolls in the house. It brought a whole new meaning to her barbies. The are no longer just dolls which I think is awesome.
It is a very good quality and it even comes apart and back together easily (which I had to do when I didn't follow the directions). Only thing that took a little bit of playing with was the elevator. Just be patient and put it up and down a few times to get the string situated correctly. After about 5 shaky "trips" on the elevator, it works great. I highly recommend this for any little girl, you will not be disappointed.
