[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough great things about the new dream house! It has built in pegs to keep the small accessories in place. It has lights and sounds! You can actually fit a phone in the TV so they can really watch tv!!! Even though the box tells you the size, I was still amazed at how big it is! It's as tall as my 4 year old! Very easy to assemble which is a bonus for the parent. And most importantly, it has kept my 7 and 4 year old girls entertained for hours on end! They have not grown tired of it at all and they both play peacefully together for long periods of time. We even had to expand our Barbie collection because they were so excited about the dream house!
Pros: High quality, easy to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The house is BIG. I know it's advertised that way, but you don't really realize it until you build it. My daughters face when she saw it was priceless! Every little girls dream come true. The house has 3 stories and comes fully furnished, very detailed I must add which is a plus. It also has an elevator, garage and a pool among other things. There is something that we both liked, which was the "TV" stand. You can put your phone inside the stand to turn your phone screen into the TV screen. It's a nice detail that you don't see in other products. This dreamhouse provides hours of fun not only for the child but for us mommies as well. We definitely recommend this house to everyone.

A little girls dream!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was ecstatic to finally get her own Barbie Dreamhouse, and this one is definitely awesome!! It is 3 stories and has 7 different rooms. It offers a play space of 4 feet tall and more than 3 feet wide! It has a working elevator, and garage door. It also has 5 different interactive pieces, such as a spinning fan and flaming stovetop grill.
The rooms are all decorated nicely and offer very modern decor for a Barbie world. You can set up your smartphone in the tv slot in the living room to make the tv come to life. You will need AAA batteries for the interactive parts. It took us about 45 minutes to get it put together. Since this item is so big it does ship in the original box...so plan to watch out for this if you order for Christmas! There are many little pieces that come with this house, that may easily get lost. So my daughter keeps her smaller pieces in a small container with a lid.

LOVE THIS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year-old daughter has been wanting the Barbie Dreamhouse for at least a year. It is everything she has been wanting and more!
When I took it out of the box, I was a little hesitant about putting it together. There was a bunch of pieces and the instructions are just pictures. After sitting down and following the instructions, the Dreamhouse really was that easy to put together. No screwdrivers necessary, it all snaps in place!
My daughter has lots of favorite things about this Dreamhouse including the working elevator and garage, as well as the table that you can switch out pieces with. She LOVES getting the fish tank to light up and she loves all of the sounds that it makes. One of my personal favorites of the Dreamhouse was the "big screen TV" where you can fit your actual smart phone in as if it was a TV. I thought that was clever!
If you are on the fence about purchasing this, I'd say you should definitely get it! It has surpassed our expectations. My daughter wants to play with it all day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this dreamhouse is huge make sure you have plenty of room for it. it's very easy to set up the instructions have pictures and it's in color my daughters could have set up its more durable then I thought it would be and her house comes with every thing you need it's truly move in read for barbie it has plenty of rooms for barbie to have all her friends over all three of my kids love this I have two girls and one boy ages 1,4, and 5 they play with this every day it has fun furniture for the kitchen bathroom bedroom living room and it even has a little vanity that makes noises like flushing sounds for the bathroom faucet sounds a sizzling grill even fish tank that you can hook up and comes with a bunch of little accessories plates and food for the kitchen even a TV that you can slide your phone into so Barbie can watch your videos with you remote even a tablet, shoes and hangers for all barbies things she even has a garage and a fold out pool the only thing it doesn't come with is barbie herself

More than a Dollhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "Thanks mom for getting me a dollhouse!" Those were my daughters first words when she saw the box containing the Barbie Dreamhouse. The attention to detail is phenomenal including mail for the mailbox, a TV (which is a holder for a phone to show videos), and fabric curtains to name just a few. Both my girls love to interchange the fan, bathroom sink, fish tank, and grill to hear the sounds and see the lights. The dreamhouse size is perfect. It is big enough that 2-4 children can easily play together at the same time and small enough to not feel like it takes over our living room. The only problem we had is the elevator lever has come off the track (only when children are playing with it for the first time). It was easy to fix in about 10 minutes using a screwdriver.
Pros: easy assembly - no tools needed!

Enjoyable House with Great Interactive Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a little girl I wanted a Barbie Dream House, and never got one, so I was excited to play with this set with my 3 year old. I was not disappointed and am very pleased with the creative ways my daughter has played with this set. There’s a looooottt of plastic and a LOOOTTTTTT of pink (I’ll get back to this in a minute). The house is very simple to put together, with very clear details. The house is HUGE, about a foot taller than my daughter. The elevator works better than the ones I remember from my childhood, but could still use a bit of work on future models (works fine, just the movements are a bit jerky).
There are some details that I thought were above and beyond and were very cute—the chandelier and canopy appearance of the bedroom setup, the TV that holds a smartphone (this gets huge smiles out of my daughter), the door knocker (probably my favorite detail about the house, it’s just so twee), the toilet that flushes, and the pool that looks like a bay window when not in use. The house includes literally everything you could need for playing house, except the dolls. We play with it with Barbies and other similarly sized dolls (Monster High, Disney, etc), and have added a few additional furniture pieces that I saved from my childhood and newly purchased and made items- but one absolutely does not need to add anything to get enjoyment out of the house.
The interactive furniture piece is definitely the stand out item here and my daughter loved it. She didn’t seem to mind that you can only play with one of the top pieces at a time, but I really think there should have been more than one base piece, either that came with the set or was sold separately— because that’s what really makes this set unique from past Barbie houses that I have seen or other brand houses. I think a standalone additional base could sell for around $25 and be a worthwhile addition to the set. Or I would have preferred to have a second base instead of all the little tiny pieces that my daughter is sure to lose within a month or so.
So the pink and plastic. The plastic is expected, of course, but I do feel this is decent quality plastic and will definitely last the 5 or so years I can imagine a young child playing with this set. The pink, although expected, is very jarring. I’m sure the Research and Development shows that pink sells, but I would love to see a Barbie house that looks like a house instead of a toy- fake brick, fake wood furniture, etc. Maybe this is something for a collector’s line?-Fancy Barbie dollhouses, I have no idea. I don’t know that this would enhance my 3 year old’s interest, but I can say for absolute certain that I would be far more likely to buy future large items like this if they looked more realistic.
I think there’s a lot to love with this set, and my daughter has definitely gotten a lot of play out of it and I know she will enjoy playing with it for at least a few years (hopefully longer!).

Barbie Home is Beautiful and Fun!

There is a lot of assembly, But setup was surprisingly easy, everything clicks in place and set up went fast and quick. The directions where very east to read! You will need are three AAA batteries and a flat head screwdriver to open the cover of the interactive island to put the batteries in. The interactive island is so fun!. The island is versatile and can be used in the bathroom hook the toilet and the sink up to it in order to flush the toilet or use the sink to brush Barrie's teeth, it makes tooth brushing sounds. You can also put the island in the kitchen and with the range in place, you can hear your food cook or you can place the fan on it and watch it spin, you know. A another very cute feature is the fish tank, the fish spins around and makes bubble sounds! So cute! The living room has a frame that you can open up and put a ipod in to have Barbie and her friends watch movies or music videos. Makes it look like a flat screen tv! The elevator operates smoothly.The garage door opens with the use of a tab on the side of the garage. On the side of the garage the widow pops out to make a pool! Easy to fill full of water! This barbie Dream house come with 7 rooms of fun plus a lot of accessories to fill each room!
