We so apologize about any miscommunication surrounding our Achiever case. Once upon a time, OtterBox used to make the Armor and Preserver series, which were both water-proof. However, in the years since, both of these styles have been discontinued. Unfortunately, we no longer carry any cases that claim to be waterproof, and although some OtterBox cases may naturally be water resistant, we would not recommend submerging them in any liquids. I had a cheaper case and wasn't satisfied and heard about how good the Otterbox cases were. It is very strong and sturdy and fits so tight. I like the thick rubber that it is made from, not cheap plastic. I feel my phone is safer if I were to drop it. My daughter has used Otterbox for a long time and has been very satisfied. She has dropped her phone several times and it was well protected.

The phone feels so much better and more substantial in my hand with the case on. I can relax from worrying about dropping the phone. Im glad I resisted all the other offers and waited until I ordered this. It is so worth the additional few dollars over the cheap substitutes. And it fits the phone precisely.
