This was the first case I bought, for the first smartphone I've had, and it suffered the same problem as every other product in this mess -- it assumed I've had one before, and came with no instructions! I struggled with trying to get the phone in without breaking either the phone or the case before I chanced damaging the case by pulling the possibly-glued rubber from the plastic. I'm also surprised that it didn't come with a screen protector, given its protection promises. Now that I have it on, it seems good, although I haven't had an opportunity to test its drop protection yet.

As far as the case goes, I could not be happier with my purchase! But the color is way off! If what I ordered was Cool Plum, I am a monkeys uncle! This color is more of a teal and orange color. If I had known it was going to be that color, I would never have bought it.

I purchased this case a few weeks ago. I installed it onto my phone and I noticed that the bottom of the case is not rigid at all. The top and the sides of the case are great but its easy to separate the case from the phone at the bottom

My first smartphone was protected by an OtterBox cover, and 7 years and countless drops and crushes later, that smartphone is unscathed and still working.
So, it just made sense to protect my new smartphone with a larger screen with an OtterBox. So far, after 3 weeks and as many drops onto pavement, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
