Been a long time customer. Have used Otterbox Defender for most of my phones since smart phones came out. Not too crazy that they are now coming with no screen protection. Will have to see if this works or I discontinue using Otterbox.

That being said, our testing has shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as Defender Series cases of the past. I had one of these cases (same color even) but a few drops over the years broke the tabs that clip the encased phone into the clip-on holster. The state I live in has laws that prevent me from holding the phone in my hands while driving. Not a problem until you have no place to put it.
When I got my new case, I replaced the broken one with it and clipped the phone to my visor when driving. I am a Happy Camper once more!!

I'm loving this case. I've had my phone since the S8 first came out. Ive been using a cheaply made knock off. I have a bunch of other Otterbox stuff. Tablet case, coolers, etc. I should've got this from day 1. I can see and feel the better quality of this case. It feels good in ky hand and doesn't feel like it'll slip out when using my phone. I would recommend

I've had my phone less than 2 years. This is the 3rd outer case I've had to buy from it. They seem to loose their grip when closing after a while.Those 2 little dots wear down fast. Everyone has recommended the Otterbox over the years, is why I bought one to begin with. I'm just glad I can get the outer case without having to buy the entire cases.
