I ordered the replacement defender holster and the fit is extremely tight to the point tho where I have to work the corners of my phone into the corners of the holster. I would send it back but don't have the time to wait for it since this is my work phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear the holster isn't working with your Defender. We recommend placing the belt clip on the back of the OtterBox so the screen is facing out, as this will give you the best fit. If that doesn't do the trick, give us a ring at 1-855-688-7269 and our friendly Otters will get to the bottom of this mystery.

I was exiting the right side of a four door pickup, I wear my phone & Otter carrier on my right side, the seat belt caught the Otter carrier & broke off one of the ears that hold the phone. Phone & Otter case dropped onto the truck's running board. The Otter case still protected my phone, but with the ear broken off the case would no longer hold the phone. As soon as I got home I ordered another Otter case.
