Did not FIT MY S8!!! TRASH I had this item on my last phone and was very happy with it that's why I went back to the same item for my new phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I purchased my phone the store did not have Otter Box available. I purchased a cover that did not last but a few months and started coming apart. This is my 2nd Otter Box, (different cell phones) and they hold up better than some other brands that I have tried. Moral of the story, just purchase an Otter Box for your cellphone and protect your investment.
I have to adjust the alfa glass all the time, the shell is fragile. My first shell busted. My 3rd alfa glass. Otterbox should of totally redesign it.
