I have been using the defender on several phones for quite awhile and was always satisfied. This model is a little different since it has no screen protector that I was used to. I gave it 4 stars only for no screen protector, but I believe it will be just fine.

I love the back of the case Like all the otter boxes I've owned. Very disappointed there was no front cover. That's where I need the most protection. Highly concerned that dispite the quality of the back and sides, my phone is not protected in the manner I am acustem to from otter box products.

I bought the Otterbox Defender series roughly one month ago.
The case has a good grip and fits perfect on the Samsung Galaxy S8. You can handle the S8 with one hand when the case is installed but it is easier with two hands.
The case seems to be very tough. I hope I don't have to test the streanght of the case in the near future ^^
There is one bad thing to say about the case. It is very hard to apply a screencover and the most screencovers don't fit on the screen with case installed.
All in all I recommend the case for everyone who does some outdoor activities!

I bought this case for my Samsung Galaxy S8+. This case fits my phone just perfect. I love the colors and I love how you can customize your case to your own color. Every phone so have purchased in the past has always had a otter box on it to protect it. Otter box's are great!

Disappointed! I have used Otterbox product for many years.
The engineers need to re-work this case. The power button is difficult to use, and pretty much impossible to use to take a screen shot. The side edge swipe menu not possible even without the glass protector. I got the commuter series and so far OK. BUT the new glass is horrible, cant touch screen easily. My first one cracked on first day where I was trying to use the power button and next one, after a few days the glass just fell off! Now not using any glass.
