I bought it almost 2 weeks ago. Not like the Defender before. I really wish it had the Built in Screen Protector. It seems like it has less protection now from dust and moisture.

Previously had a commuter series case for my galaxy s6, switched to he defender series for my galaxy s8 simply for the color options. It seems like it'll be a good case but I don't like that it feels rubbery on the outside & the hard plastic is around the phone. If I could've got this color combo (gray & aqua) in the commuter series I would have instead.

Have used Defender covers in the past and they have always been of the highest quality and offer rock solid protection (unfortunately my phone falls often!). Purchased two new Defenders for new Galaxy S8s. Sadly (yet gladly), per above, they have worked very well since I have already dropped the S8s. The fit and function are flawless. Great product!

I went with the custom color selection and the results are very pleasing. I love the two tone look. Otherwise, the case feels very robust and durable. The only thing I somewhat dislike, but is also a plus on some occasions, is the outer shell is entirely rubberized, so in-and-out of the pocket can be difficult. That being said, the rubberized cover is a nice grippy surface that will prevent the phone from falling out of your pocket when you dont want it to.
