Great phone case but could be enhanced

I am happy with my purchase. The clear symmetry case for my Galaxy S8 is really good and provides great protection. However the lock button as well as the volume buttons are quite hard to press. Maybe a softer material could have been used to make it easier to press these essential buttons.

I purchased this Symmetry case ahead of the release date for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and have been using it now for the last 10 days. I bought another popular brand, too, but have kept the Otterbox on the phone for the last 10 days because ... it just works so darn well. It's slim, sturdy, and fits great with well sized cut outs. I was fearful it'd be slippery in my hand, but the rubber edge ensures a solid grip. The polycarbonate back does not attract finger prints and ensures the phone slides in and out of pockets easily. Sure, the back might make it slippery on a surface, but I always set it face down on its non-slippery, beveled edges as I'd suspect most users would. In my opinion, the design and construction of this model shouts experience and understanding of what's ideal in a case. Otterbox got this one right!

Buttons too stiff

as a protective case it's fine but the buttons on the side are incredibly hard to press. I thought they might loosen over time but they haven't. I have to press really hard on the power button to wake the screen and it always takes a few goes so it's very annoying. it's makes using screenshot really difficult too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't like it at all. It came in and is discolored supposed to be clear but is like a yellow used tint around the edges. Using cause I need a case now but will not order again.

Worst purchase ever

This is the worst purchase ever. I can't use the buttons from the side of the phone. I have to take the cover off in order to use the volume button or even to lock the phone. I'm so disappointed

Not enough protection for my liking

Love Otterbox, that's all I ever use on my phones! Didn't feel the Otterbox symmetry was enough protection for my new Samsung galaxy s8 so I returned it and purchased the Defender, which I love!
