Finding a poor selection of Otterboxes for my new phone in the Verizon Store where I purchased the phone, my daughter contacted you online. I selected a red Otterbox so I can easily see it in my black-lined purse. I received my red Otterbox in the number of days stated and in great condition.and it quickly and easily slipped around my phone. I am a very satisfied customer.
The case itself is sturdy and attractive, however the power button is essentially useless while the phone is in the case. I have to use both hands to make it work. The volume button is slightly better but still not great. I had my brother and husband try pressing the buttons and they had the same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sometimes, they can be a little stiff and nervous to protect your Galaxy S8, but after some time, they do normally loosen up a bit and feel more comfortable. If the tenacity continues or just becomes too frustrating, we'll be happy to replace that case under our warranty. Just ring up our playful Otters at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll dive right in!
As always, Otter makes a great protective case. The issue I found with this one is that with the Galaxy S8's curved edges, manipulating the Power On/Off and Volume buttons on the side of the phone is very difficult, needing to apply a great deal of pressure to activate them. This may owe more to the S8's edges than to the case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a cover for a samsung s8 recently and cant press the side buttons on the phone with the cover on

I bought this a few weeks ago. I love the sparkles in the case and I like that it's not bulky. It fits my phone perfectly and I know if I drop my phone it will be protected

My new Samsung 8 is both sleek and slick, easy to drop and easy to scratch. I needed a one piece clear protective case asap, and the clear Otterbox Symmetry case fit the bill (and the phone) perfectly. The case molds itself to phone, and eliminates accidental activation of buttons or fingerprint scanner. Buttons are a bit stiff and hard to acticate until used a few days. Already dropped phone a few times with no damage. Soft raised lip on top and bottom front (not the sides though) protect screen. Large cutouts for easy usb and headphone connections. Case design makes it easy to find and operate fingerprint scanner without smudging camera lens. I was reluctant ti buy my first Otterbox case due to price compared to cheap knockoffs, but now very happy I purchased Otterbox Symmetry clear case to both show off and protect my new and expensive Galaxy S8.
