I got my GS8 and ordered the commuter for style and color purposes. I will say you guys are biased to iPhones because they definitely have so many more designs. Other than that. Otter box is a no brainer.

Protected my phones for years

Been using Otterbox on my last 3 phones. I drop them almost daily and have never broken one or even cracked a screen.
Also really like the tactile buttons and the plug covers and that you can get interchangeable colors for the inner and outer shell.

I bought this case without seeing it, hoping it would be a slim design, and I was not let down. It's thin but very well-designed. I dropped my phone the day after I got my case....and no damage. I don't suggest throwing your phone to test this....but know it's protectes.y
