Always bought an otterbox case with any of my new phone since i never break any cellphone with otterbox case.
The only thing I feel could be upgraded in the design is the lip that could be higher than the cell screen.
But overall.. otterbox is a good brand.

Wonderful product

I had a commuter case with my last phone and it took some serious beating. I knew I wanted one with my new phone. This one is even better than the last. I think they've made some changes to the materials: the hard outer case has a smoother texture without being slippery and the rubbery inner portion seems firmer. With my last one the inner part started to shed little pieces from constant friction on it. Don't think that will be an issue with this one. Shape allows free use if beveled screen and protrudes on top and bottom so I can safely lay phone face-down.

I have had the commuter cover on my last 3 phones. It really protects the phone and is a perfect fit. I like that it has the shell so that it slides in and out of my pockets without getting stuck. I was worried about it fitting my new Samsung Galaxy S8 due to the curved edges, but it fits perfectly! I'm happy with my purchase!

Doesn't pair well with inner case

I don't know if it's the inner casing or if it's the shell but they don't house get well together. The buttons are very stiff, and the shell on the sides does not hold well
