First one was cracked right out of the box. It was replaced and this one has already cracked on the side. Not sure if I should go for another replacement or try to find something else.

The alpha glass others great protection and is very responsive. However, there is a slight pinching to one side when paired with the defender case, this makes it less responsive on that side and also the side button doesn't connect properly.
I took the case off and pushed it ever so slightly to the other side, this only moved the problem.

I bought the Alpha glass 2weeks ago. Once received applied to phone and put commuter case with it. The next morning noticed the top was lifting up under top of case. Touched to push down and the Alpha class cracked. Was disappointed. Called otterbox next day. They wanted to send another along with installation tool. I read instructions and watched YouTube tutorials on applying to S8+ and worked like a charm. I was skeptical and ready to return. So far so good, second time around. Thanks otterbox for restoring my faith in your product.

After a full day of usage, the alpha glass popped off the screen. More r&d should have been done before the s8 and s8+ release.

screen does not work with a otter box case

i order from the otterbox website a commuter case and the alpha glass and it didnt even last 24 hrs screen popped up and cracked. very bad design. case should go over the screen protector to help it stay down

As long as the installation instructions were followed including cleaning the phone, precise alignment and thorough pressure applied around the perimeter where the adhesive is located, this should not happen.

Love the design but poor fitment

I bought this screen protector because I wanted to absolutely get the best product to protect my phone. Overall, I like the product for it's 3D design, it's reactive touch and it's clarity. However, as stated in many responses to other reviews from otterbox, this protector '' fits seamlessly with the defender, symmetry and commuter case. '' I would not define it as seamless, as my defender fits excessively tight with this glass protector. The bottom of the case is partially pried open due to the added thickness of the screen protector, even though it is and was perfectly aligned when installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
