Disappointed.

Bought this hoping it would be a better option than the other tempered glass choices, as Otterbox obviously recommends it, and I have their case. Wish I would have read more reviews first. I'm sure it's protective, but too much $ for a cover that shows the dot matrix look in the sun, and SUPER hinders touch screen sensitivity...have to "pound" screen now to do anything! Super frustrating, and time consuming. Save your money and pass on this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tried and proven to be the best protection

In the 0past month I upgraded from a Galaxy S6 to a S8+. Without hesitation I encased my very expensive S8+ in an Otter box. In the past I bought less expensive cell phone protection and when my phone accidently hit the floor my S6 screen shattered. Replacement S6 and I put in it an Otter box. One day, I was carrying too much downstairs to the laundry room and my S6 slipped out of my hand and I watched as it travelled full force down 14 wooden steps. I fully expected to find a shattered screen. In fact, the Otter box saved my S6 and it escaped completely intact and unharmed! I am no longer a sceptic and an Otter box customer fan for life!

I bought this item a week ago expecting it to be a great product, as it comes from Otterbox whom I've never had issues with their products before. Long story short I took my phone out of its case, which is an Otterbox commuter case, to clean the phone and when I placed the phone back into the case the screen cracked. The screen didn't crack because i doprred it, or it hit something sharp...nope it cracked because I placed the phone in a case! What an expensive waste of time and money! I can say for the first time that I will be looking elsewhere for a screen protector.

This is the second time buying this product. It fits perfectly with the recommended case and it is a great product. My only complaint is that the adhesive at the top stopped working after a couple of months and the "glass" began popping up. Interfering with all touch controls. I ended up taking it off and giving it a second try. I hope not to have the same problem the second time around.
