The glass fits very well, but I'm thinking after close examination the gum adhesive around the perimeter prevents or interferes with screen touch for apps along the edges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had the case for two weeks. I don't think the case was meant to work with protective Glass even though it was a recommended product. The case broke as a result and the glass isn't working as a result either. Would not spend money on either one again .

Second screen cover and it's still popping up

This is my second screen protector and it's still lifting when the case otterbox case it fitted.
It's so annoying as you have to keep pressing the screens to get any reaction.
Typing has become a nightmare.

Otter Box should go back to attaching the screen protector when you buy the defender series. This product should of been already attached to the defender series.

Hard to apply - wont last.

My glass was applied by the sales person at Verizon. Two times, two different protectors. The first one just plain refused to stick - maybe a better adhesive would help? The second one went on, but 3 days later, looks like its starting to come up. I am using the metallic symmetry case, and i dont think the glass quite fits with the case. The edges are not covered by the case, and there is dust etc getting stuck under the sides. I am 99.9% sure that this glass will come off within the next week. I have not had issues with touch sensitivity at all, and it wipes clean very easily. Ive never ever had problems with other Otter Box products so I did not expect this at all.

As long as the installation instructions were followed including cleaning the phone, precise alignment and thorough pressure applied around the perimeter where the adhesive is located it will be secure.
The Symmetry case was designed to be completely compatible with the Alpha Glass so it should not cause any trouble. If you find that the screen protector does not stay put down the road please do not hesitate to give our friendly Otters a call at 1-855-688-7269 and we will be more than happy to get a warranty replacement arranged!
