Picks up pet hair like nobody’s business

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this a few months now and it does a great job of getting the pet hair and dust up. It does have some difficulty transitioning from the hard floor to the rug we have, and 9 times out of 10 it can’t get itself completely back on the charging station completely. We have to push it on the last inch so it will begin recharging.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Effective and fun to use!

I bought the POWERbot R7090 about a year ago. It was easy to set up and it's done a great job of navigating my condo to keep it neat and clean. It is better than other, similar products in navigating obstacles while still accomplishing its mission.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had to send this product in two times within a year, with issues. When it works I like it, unfortunately it isn't reliable.

Pretty good performance

Just bought this 2 days ago and ran it twice so far. I live in a one bedroom apartment with no pets but a young child.
Overall this works pretty good. Not perfect but very acceptable. If you live in a space that is square this would work perfect for you.
You must note that where you put the recharging station matters A LOT because it is the baseline and the RobotVac will only clean the spaces in front of it. For example, you have a living room and a bedroom and/or bathroom is situated behind the living room, Robot will clean the living room ONLY and will not know to go behind the wall of the living room and clean bathroom and a bed room.
Now that was the drawback I saw. But the spaces it cleans were pretty good. It doesn't clean the most efficient way. For example, it would start vacuum then would take a trip to a different section of the space. At first, I thought it missed the whole section where it started cleaning. But then, eventually, it somehow remembered the missing spot and came back. But then it would also go back to a far away space that it missed. Not sure why it wouldn't make sure to finish the space it works on then move on to a far away place.
As far as the sensors go, they are great. I have a dining table in the living room. There are 4 dining chairs. The machine slows down when detecting a chair leg or table leg.
I have a area rug in the living room. The machine goes up the rug fine and put itself into a high gear (Turbo Mode) and cleans it all. Impressed.
You have to empty the dust bin EVERY TIME it's finished running. Meaning you have to be diligent and not let the machine do all the work. Also, before the machine starts cleaning, you MUST clean the entire cleaning area. ie) pick up every single toys and put away all the shoes. Again, you must be diligent. Otherwise, don't bother buying this robot. You will be throwing away money.

We bought this vacuum about a year ago and we were very satisfied overall.
We don't have pets not small kids.
We love all the features and how great the paterns show in the carpets, also it does a decent job reaching out the edges.
About 11 months since we got it we noticed that the vacuum was recharging more often than before. Now the vacuum charge does not last more than 15 minutes of charge.

2 Units Failed Almost Immediately

Bought an R7090 less than a month ago after my older Roomba units finally died. Had purchased an R7065 back in November 2018. Within a week of each other, both units failed - refuse to move forward, no error code on the device. Have tried cleaning cliff sensors, brushes, and wheels to no avail. R7065 failed first, and service has been poor so far; R7090 failure tonight led me to write this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this thing for almost a year, I has been back for repairs several time. It will not charge. Works good for a couple of weeks after getting it back but then stops charging again. I will never buy another samsung product again.
