not suitable for wooden gates

double sided tape will not last long on wood as it expands and contracts due to weather . there usually too much movement in closed wooden gates so sensors will move with the wind and the contraction/expansion. A muted siren option would be handy for testing purposes.

Bought two gate kits as we recently had some people entering the yard at night. The kit work fine by giving a loud alarm in the house . Only negative is that you can not select it off say when you expecting people over besides removing the batteries.

awful alerts.

you have 3 choices for your 2 sensors. the first two are so awful, they sound like a burgler alarm every time someone comes to the door. I didn't even bother trying to program the third option, as I need 2, and I would not want to listen to either of the first two options every time someone comes to my business.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
