Great for van security

I bought this driveway sensor to mount in the back of my van after a recent spate of tool thefts from vans. Works a treat and will give you an instant alert if lowlifes manage to get your van doors open!

Be alarmed!

Bought this to alert us when someone enters the front garden gate. The receiver is portable so if we're in the back garden or in the house, we're alerted. Be aware. There are only three warning sounds to choose from, and I find only channel 3 acceptable. Also, there are only three volume settings,and the lowest is still too loud for indoors use. Cover it with a cushion and it's ok. But when the unit is outside, it's the perfect level. To reduce triggers due to shadow, waving low level branches and so on, I have made a shroud...on the principle of horse blinkers. This narrows the vision of the sensor to a certain spot. It works. DeAnn should offer such a shroud as an optional extra. This alarm would be perfect for the inside of a van to alert you to a break in. It is great for,but not limited to, a driveway. It's a good quality product that I'm happy to recommend, but some volume modification wouldn't go amiss. Finally, also note that there's a plethora of ringtone sound built into the unit, but they can only be paired to a doorbell. So there remain just three alarm tones.

I got a doorbell kit and a PIR kit. I set up the PIR to chime one bell when it is triggered, and the doorbell to chime both bells, which is exactly what I needed.
