Very nice phone

Both the wife and I have the same phone now. She got hers about two months ago and I got mine two weeks ago. Nice features, nice price. Very fast and clear pics. She uses hers 24 hours a day, while I got mine to be able to use Facetime, surf the web and have the same fast response that made her so happy over her last TracFone LG.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased one of the iPhone SE's in October after considerable study as to which phone would best suit my needs. I'm hearing impaired and wear hearing aids in both ears so I needed a "loud" phone. This phone can be set to a level of loudness that you could set it on a table and have several people listen to it!
The speaker is in the bottom of the phone when laid flat and comes out of the earpiece when held up right. You have to go through the settings to set up everything, but Apple does a good job of making this easy to do. The camera is excellent 12 megapixel) and also will take great videos at resolutions up to 4k. There is a digital zoom that goes up to 5x, but you lose a lot of sharpness, so zooming should be limited to 2x to 3x. 2x is pretty good and good for portraits. Apple gives you a lot of apps already installed so you have a lot of choices.

No MMS without data on

Recently purchased 2 iPhone SE's for Christmas. We are long time Tracfone users. Upgraded from Galaxy Luna. With the Luna we DID NOT need to have data on to send/receive MMS. With the iphones, we CAN NOT send/receive MMS without data on. We don't want to leave our data on 24/7. That's like letting your car run until it's out of gas. Otherwise, the phone is good but with these restrictions, it's limited in it's usefulness - especially for people who do a lot of group texting. Buyer beware.

Firstly, it is notable that this is less expensive than a 32 GB iPod Touch. I read the instructions, set this phone up, and it has been everything I wanted from an iPhone. Touch ID, a 12 MP camera, great usability, all in a compact package that can fit in my little pockets and little hands.
I am glad to finally have a Tracfone iPhone. I hope that this continues being offered and that they have more color/memory options available in the future.

This is my first iPhone. I'd been waiting for TracFone to have it, and finally I was able to get it! I just got it this week and am really enjoying it. It is very fast. I have small hands and this little phone just fits! The quality of sound received from the iphone is good. I am hard of hearing and can hear through this phone. There is quality here. Thanks.

I have had an iphone 5, 6, and the nexus 5x. I am so glad I switched to Tracfone and bought the SE. It works just like my iphone 6, but the smaller (better) form factor of the 5. Plus Tracfone is saving me $300 annually over Project Fi.

Only bad smartphone ever purchased

Flagship that, new this, the Wi-Fi is messed up in the OS release, and its especially messed up in these SE iphones. Look around online, if you want to use wifi, do not get one of these, its a roll of the dice if it works. Touch screen is pretty lacking in sensitivity, reviews were correct. I actually sent this back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
