Finally, a smartphone that's a good PHONE!

I've had my iPhone SE for about 3 months and I'm very pleased with it's overall performance -- particularly the basic phone functions. There's none of the echo and fading in and out or chopping off the beginning of words as on most other wireless phones. The mobile data & wifi work great too, connecting instantly and without hanging or freezing.
The setup was a breeze; my number was switched over within a few hours and all my contacts and photos survived intact. The build quality impresses, too; the phone feels very solid, yet it's lightweight & easy to use with one hand. I have no problem with the screen size (but then I've always had smaller phones).
The one odd feature is that there's not visual indicator showing that you have voicemail or text messages waiting. My old, cheap Android phone had a lighted home key that would blink to indicate that, and it also served as a full-charge indicator. Seems odd that this more upscale phone omits those features. Otherwise, all is good!

Works Great!

I've had it about a week, and LOVE it. I upgraded from an admittedly old & outdated Android phone, but it's so nice to have apps such as my Fitbit which work on my phone now, instead of freezing or taking forever to launch. The screen IS small compared to some phones, but I knew this before I purchased. The trade off in overall size is worth it to me. Apps and overall usability are awesome, voice and data are great, and activation was a snap using the web site. My number transferred and activated within minutes. The currently included minutes, text and data added to my account total when activation was complete.
I would recommend this to a friend!

System Storage Full

I got this phone about a year ago, and I was very happy with it, unfortunately the system is taking 27gb from the 32gb capacity; I have deleted pictures and kept few apps, and not helping. Wassup is blocked, unable to take pictures, or use apps. Might go back to android.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great iphone!

This iphone arrives with IOS9 but you should update software to install the most current operating system (iOS 11.4.1 as of 8/29/18). This phone has a SIM card and you have to press hard on the pin hole to get the SIM slot to open. This phone does not allow for wifi calling (even when you turn cellular data off and LTE/roaming off) to other non-phone users but on wifi you can make calls for free via FaceTime. iMessaging is free on wifi but uses up data when not on wifi. The picture quality on this phone is great and the airdrop option is available so you can easily exchange photos with other iPhone users. Downloading apps is easy on the App store. The SE is a great size for me.

I've had this since September of 2017 and still have no problems with it. the Operating System is easy to use and and its super fast with it's A9 chip from the iPhone 6S. The iPhone SE is a great phone for those who don't want to spend extra money for those fancy features that the new iPhone's have but still have the amazing camera of a iPhone. AND YES THIS IS A REAL REVIEW I love my phone will be upgrading to the 6S and giving this phone to my dad. I honestly prefer an iPhone over the android phone because it's faster, smarter, and more powerful than the new Samsung's. The battery life is great! When I have "low power mode" on the battery life is amazing. The screen may not be as big as the others, but it still has the beautiful retina display found in a lot of iPhones'. One thing that is better most Android phones' is that you can have updates that are the latest OS firmware (meaning that you will always have updates for the latest software version of iOS). Thank you for taking the time to read my honest and truthful review.

Great little iPhone

After having my personal iPhone5s ported over to tracfone a few months ago I picked up 2 iPhone SE's to add for the family; although I may keep one for myself. They are better than my 5s in terms of speed and battery life that's for sure and exactly the same size but with the chipset of an iPhone6. My 5s lasts about a day while these with kids who are frequently online using an SE last about 2 days. I should also note that the only difference in going to tracfone from the carrier I was with is about $75 extra a month in my pocket.

Bought the iPhone SE in December and love it, this is my 3rd tracfone.
Used the app to transfer all my contacts from my samsung with no problems.
All my data and minuets were transferred and the phone was activate within a couple of hours.

Tracfone finally offered iOS phones, so I jumped on this! It's a great little phone. My only complaint is the paucity of storage. This is an amazing bargain! One of the very least expensive ways to get an iPhone and cell service.
