Nice size for basement.

Had to replace a 40 year old machine that gave up the ghost. Had to look around for one of similar size to fit in space. This one did.
Pros. Perfect size for a basement
refrigerator keeps stuff nice and cold on the medium settings. Very quiet
Cons. Lower door did not open smoothly, gradually got worse. Contacted warranty service. A local shop took on the repair. Took several months for the pets to come in. The lower hinge was stripped.
Good news was the repairman was very prompt and courteous and did a good job fixing

New Haier 9.8 cu refrigerator

I just purchased this refrigerator and so far I’m pleased with it. I was told it would take 12 to 15 hours forward to freeze and cool but it only took a few hours if that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very disappointed with this toddler sized refrigerator. It is too compact inside to the point, I must shop weekly for groceries and must eat leftover promptly because of the limited space inside the unit. This refrigerator may be used best as a second unit in a bedroom or tiny garage (snack, beverage, medications) but not for the kitchen where cooking and storage are required. I am 5'7", the refrigerator is so low to the floor, I practically have to kneel on the floor to obtain items from the lower selves of the unit. I recently had a total knee replacement and can barely bend down, this refrigerator has been a disaster for me. I would not recommend this refrigerator. One last thing, the sides of the refrigerator become very hot and I am greatly concerned about this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect For Our Office!

Bought this last November 2020 this first one never would get cold and the freezer never got cold either. They did replace right away. The second one seemed to be working but after a couple months it stopped getting cold and I lost everything in the freezer. I love the size of it and have it in the garage for extra drinks and produce etc. but very disappointed in the performance. It did start working again but I won’t put anything perishable in it now
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We don't recommend installing the refrigerator where the temperature will go below 60 degrees or above 100 degrees, because it won't perform properly.
