Great range!

We installed this range a month ago. We are thrilled with how quickly the stove top heats when cooking, and how quickly it responds to changing the temperature. The convection oven works great. No issues with hot air blowing on you like you read about for other models of slide in ranges.
The only reason I did not give this unit 5 stars: If your counter top was changed from a laminate style to a granite top, you may not have enough adjustment in the leveling feet. We experienced this with our unit. The laminate top was much thicker than the new granite top we had installed. The counter top is lower now and there is a 1/2-3/4" gap between the cook top and counter top with the leveling feet all the way down.

Attractive but tricky

Bought and installed our new induction slide in in April 2014. Love the look and quality of our new range. Cleans up so nice. Purchased because we loved to cook with gas but the burners were melting our over head microwave and surrounding overhead cabinet doors. The induction does act like gas in how quickly it heats up, but the large burner on the right front does not heat up unless a huge pot is used, making this burner somewhat useless. The only time we will use it is when we are canning and using our large kettle. It says you can center a slightly smaller (than the pattern) pan but we have not been able to make it work that way, bummer, especially since it is a front burner.

Very happy with performance of this range

Replaced a coil electric range with this and it is the best move I could have made. Heats quick and truly seems more responsive than gas. Do not have option for gas where I live now and was missing it terribly....now don;t miss it all. Would have gone 5 stars except that the touch pad front gets triggered when wiping with a cloth. Of course, being induction nothing heats up if there is no pan on stove but it just seems they could have built in a device to either not "false sense" or a simple disable to touch pads for cleaning. Really more of a nuisance that just needs a little more thought and I'd still take this range over electric coil type in a heartbeat.

Going from a 35 year old oven and stove that did not work well, I feel like I have hit the jackpot. I love the induction cooktop. I did have to buy new pots and pans and now feel like I am in culinary heaven. There definitely is a bit of a readjustment in figuring the best temperature for cooking, but it is not difficult. I love how fast things heat and cook. The oven bakes evenly and is nice too. I haven't yet taken the time to play with the convection heat. Spend the extra $ for induction. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful and Smart

The range has been installed for only 2 days, and I have cooked only one dinner on it (Lasagna from scratch), but I'm completely happy with the product so far. The surface units are flexible and responsive and the oven works well. There are many features I'm anxious to try and I look forward to a beautiful relationship with this stove.

Cooks better than gas
on August 16, 2014

I've used gas/propane, electric resistance, halogen, and now induction. FAR better than you can possibly imagine. It cooks faster than gas, yet keeps kitchen cool, and inherently safer than all other options. It is also efficient, recipes cook faster than any other method. As an example, making pancake recipe used to take 1/2 hour, now reduced to 12 minutes because pans heat up so fast. There should be a law out there that requires ALL new ranges to be this fast, safe, and efficient. My ONLY complaint is there should be a warning that there is a minimum pan size in order for the large burner to work.

Iduction stove/oven
on September 25, 2014

I had been waiting for the full Induction stove for several years. I have a Pullman type kitchen with little room to spare for the full size gas range, and wall ovens. My last range/oven was the best of both worlds. Not only did I have a warming zone, but also a bridge unit of 2 of the burners, and a second oven, tho small could bake up to 400. With the main oven, my GE microwave/oven, and the 2nd small oven, there was no meal I couldn't make.
I do like that the warming zone on my stove is user friendly ( doesn't need to be induction), but I find the other elements missing, and wonder why that is.
I love to cook, and tho it isn't my only interest, I do find it the most gratifying.

Excellent features - INDUCTION cook top the BEST!

Was looking for a duel fuel and am so happy with the performance of the induction stop top and electric oven. Induction works as well or better than gas. The oven capacity is great.
