This range and oven work well, however the controls are easily turned off when reaching across to a pot or pan on the range. I love how quickly the elements get hot and how easy it is to control temperature. Sice I cannot use gas this is a great alternative, just change the control location!

Awesome new technology on inductive. My wife cooked or first meal and even did cookies with the convection oven. Could not be more pleased the only con isi with the bigger burner would except maybe 7 1/2" bottom indeed of 8" due to being able to use standard induction puts and pans. It's hard to get a 8" bottom ina set deal and now that Burnett is almost useless except for 1 stock pot which would be great to be in the rear for the burner not front

I am really enjoying using my new range. Easy to keep looking brand new. Cooks really fast. Haven't tried the warming oven yet. Have learned that all induction pans are not created equal. You'll have to experiment to see which brand works fastest.

Induction cooking at its best

I did a full kitchen remodel this summer, and although I really wanted this range, I wasn't sure I could justify it financially. But when I had a small single plug-in induction unit before, its what I always used, never the electric stovetop, so I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't get this, and I'm very glad I did.
First, its a beautiful product, a great combination of glass, stainless steel, and modern-looking interface. And most importantly, it cooks things quickly and efficiently. Water boils in no time, much faster than gas. And of course being a higher-end product than the small plug-in one I mentioned earlier, it had some nice features. First, each burner's heat level can be adjusted on a scale of 1-9, going by halves, which is pretty precise. Another nice feature is that, unlike the old one that would turn itself off if I took the cookware off even for a second, the burners on this unit just pause the heating as the number flashes. When the pan is placed back on the surface, it resumes cooking.
I use a set of stainless pots and pans with this unit, and I bought my first cast iron pan, which doesn't stick to food as much. What I love about these is that it feels like I have cookwear for life, unlike the old days of buying a new teflon pan every 6 months to a year. And of course no non-stick coatings possibly coming off into my family's food. And also knowing that I save about 30% of the energy of other cooking methods is great too!
One thing you have to be carful for is accidentally turning it on, as the touch sensors are pretty sensitive. But there are some safety elements built in. If there's no pan on the burner, then it won't heat. And to turn on a burner, you have to push two buttons, which also makes it safer. I also like how there is a small red light in the cooktop for each burner that turns on during use, and stays on for several minutes afterwards to warn you that it could still be hot.
Overall, I love my range, and I just hope it gives me many years of great use!

I bought an induction range for safety with grandchildren running around the house and my age to reduce the change of burning anyone on the hot stove AND the energy savings

Very pleased with the performance. One problem with it is the controls can be accidentally activated when you lean on them or are cleaning them.
