Bought this unit as a part of a kitchen remodel. There is a learning curve, but the cook top is as responsive as a gas cooktop.

GE Profile induction slide-in range

This is the greatest, best and most wonderful stove I have ever had. The temperatures on the stove top are consistent whatever temperature I select. I haven't burned anything as the name of the game seems to be start low and raise the temperature one "click" at a time.
The oven is spacious and the baking temperatures are correct for all types of baking. Broiling is a pleasure with minimal splatter.
Having done my homework before choosing this particular manufacturer induction slide-in range really paid off. My enthusiasm over this range convinced a friend to purchase the same one and she is doing back flips.
What a pleasure using such a well made piece of equipment.

Very happy with my stove. Heats water fast and cooks very hot compared to my old electric stove. Easy to clean. Took some adjustment to using the stove because of how hot it would get.

Great cooktop

Bought this range to slide in existing countertop and cold not be happier. We were a bit uneasy about some reviews complaining about induction cooking but have found nothing bad at all. In fact the cooking experience is greatly improved. We did have to replace a few All Clad items as they were not compatible but the replacement All Clad stainless is fabulous - can cook on low temperature - no clicking some other reviewers complained about. If you are looking for a great cooktop and oven this is definitely one to consider.

Getting used to Induction cooking

We just downsized into a condo with a smaller kitchen. Both of us like to cook, there wasn't access to gas, and we wanted efficiency. Induction was the answer! It is interesting how efficiently it cooks, how quickly things heat, and how you have to adjust your cooking habits. The stove is well made, does what it's supposed to do, and is the best of the induction stoves we examined. Our concern is durability, given the electronic control panel and the induction system, which although used for many years in Europe is just being adopted in the USA.
I would recommend this to a friend!
