Shuts off unexpectedly

We purchased this expensive range several years ago and have had, for a few years, issues with it shutting off unexpectedly a few seconds after turning on. Normally it would correct itself after too long, but it appears to now be down for the count. The appliance repair company told us that they no longer repair induction ranges as they cannot get a permanent fix. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Major concerns!

I purchased this wonderful? range for my new kitchen remodel. I used it once and during that use I heard a 'pop' and all parts of the appliance stopped working, stove top and oven. I followed manual instructions and turned off the circuit for the time suggested. When I reset the circuit, I was able to use the oven once and no burner. I have not been able to use it since. I have contacted support and now waiting to get the new part which we think 'may' be the problem. It will be installed next week so my 'real' review will come after that time. I must say that I am very disappointed. I am anxious to use my new induction range.

Died one year after installation

We were very happy with this appliance up until it died yesterday. The stovetop is easy to clean and heats up quickly when working. What is very strange is our GE refrigerator died last week also right after being installed one year.

Souped up range!

After a lot of research I knew I wanted an induction cooktop, a true European convection oven and a warming drawer. This is one of a few ranges on the market that have all three, and it was a brand new model. The performance of this range have far exceeded my expectations. The cooktop brings a 5 quart pan of water for pasta to a boil in about 5 minutes and boils water for tea in a little over 1 minute. I prefer this to gas for safety reasons, and controlling the cooking temp is even superior to gas IMHO. I had convection before but it doesn't compare to this oven. From baking a delicate salmon to roasting and using the temperature probe, the results are dramatically better than my previous convection oven. The warming drawer gets a work-out every all of the time. It's wonderful for warming plates before serving, keeping a meal warm for family members who are stuck late at work or for making everything magically appear at the table, hot and fresh for a dinner party.
The only reason I downgraded this to 4 stars is because it arrived with an oven rack that was defective. GE replaced it quickly, but when trying to install the defective one I scratched the interior of the oven. This was a hassle I hope they've corrected. Otherwise I adore this product.

Love this stove

I was skeptical about an electric stove- I always wanted a gas one. We could not put one in our new kitchen and I am glad I got this one.  Phenomenal features.

We bought this oven two months ago and it has been broken longer than it has worked. Serviceman can only come during banker's hours, causing us to miss work, and parts are unavailable and have to be back ordered. Had to cancel our Super Bowl party.

Not worth the price

We purchased a PHS920 in December 2013. It has now stopped working completely. The cooktop hot light is constantly on but neither the oven nor cooktop will work. When you try to turn it on the fan turns on for a short period of time and then turns completely off. We have tried resetting the fuse and circuit breaker and there is no change. Disappointing that such a high end, expensive appliance has failed.

The induction is unbelievably fast and the range is incredibly efficient. Best purchase I have made in a long time. I do not want to ever go without induction and this incredible range.
