It is great at baking and cooking, I give five stars. The stainless steel is cheap and it scratch very very easy, I give zero stars.

I had owned a GE Profile that was 17 years old, never had a problem, just wanted a more up dated one. I am so happy with the way it cooks and bakes. The slide in is perfect and the griddle comes in handy.

Goof functionality for people who love to cook, however lack of spill trays is awkward and result in mess some time. I wish GE or a third party can come up with spill trays to make it easy

We bought all GE profile appliances because of their reputation. I was really excited to be getting a gas range! There are so many things I like about this range ... well made, looks great, love the center grill etc. But there are a few things that bug me. I don't like that the knobs can't be turned either direction to turn on and off ... you can only turn them counter clockwise to turn on and clockwise to turn off. We've adjusted the burners so many times and are frustrated that they don't seem to be calibrating consistently. It always seems that one cooks very hot while another not hot enough ... the simmer on all the burners is too high even with the regulator set at the lowest setting. I haven't quite figured out the oven ... it seems to cook too hot most of the time. I'm trading it in so I'm being optimistic that I'll get used to it soon.

It works great. The stainless steel cook top cleans up easily which is what I was looking for in a gas range. It cooks fast and evenly. Love it.

I must start by saying that I am not a gourmet cook, and I do not put this fine of an instrument to any real tests. That said, we love cooking on it--very easy to learn and responsive.

Wonderful to cook on!!

I do a lot of cooking and really enjoy this gas range. My favorite part is cooking on the middle grill extension from burgers to sauteing veggies or shrimp. So much easier without having to start up the outside grill and waste charcoal for just a little bit of food. The oven is great with the electronic temp/clock and timer, I haven't even begun to find all the things this gas has to offer.
