Stove broke in less than 6 months

I bought this range and decided to by the nicer model hoping that buy paying a little extra I would have a more reliable range. Turns out that was a huge, expensive mistake. In less than six months the electric board went out and the stove was completely in operable. I always thought "you get what you pay for" but in this case, do not waste your money on this stove. It is a real disappointment, especially coming from GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, I am loving my new range! The griddle is wonderful for searing meat or flipping pancakes. The oven cooks quickly and evenly.

Very Nice Range

This range is a good solid product, all parts are heavy and seems like it is built to last. Grates are easy to remove and spills are easy to clean up. Plenty of adjustment for flame on the top burners for different needs. Takes a little bit of reading to use advanced oven features like the oven temperature probe, but not that difficult. Would have been nice if the oven controls were easier to read, maybe lighted?

I purchased this GE Profile range in combination with a GE Profile Microwave for over top of the range. They work fantastic. The griddle in the middle is wonderful. Its amazing how fast the tri-ring burner boils even the largest pots of water. I brew so even 5 gallons of water is a breeze.

A very handsome stove, usful stove

This is a beautiful stove that is very functional. The controls are easy and intuitive to use. It slide into my 30" counter cutout and the sides seal tightly. The center burner does not get hot enough, so I still use my over the burner grill.

Great features and style

I am extremely happy with this range. We used the middle burner with the grill on the Fourth of July when it was pouring out - we grilled indoors and it was fabulous- I didn't think I really needed this feature but I'm so glad I got it! Also, the warming drawer is another great, functional idea. The racks roll out effortlessly. The touch screen controls are sleek and the range looks like it does belong in a professional chef's kitchen I can't think of anything that could make this range easier to use or more attractive in the kitchen with the other stainless steel appliances.

Wonderful range

Surface scratches easy which is disapointing given the price. Already sevetal scratches and just a few months old. Otherwise from a feature standpoint it cant be beat.

Nice burners poor electronics

I have had this range for almost 6 weeks and I am very happy with the burners and the mechanical features. However, the electronics are hard to understand. My cleaning lady was so confused that she left the oven on all day. the . My mother cannot figure it out. You shouldn't need an advanced degree to use the stove. The timer is either too complicated for us to figure it out or has busted already, but I am going to have to sit down with the manual to even know the answer to that question.
