Luv the new gas range

We had a GE gas profile range in our old house for over 10 yrs. Luv'ed it. Never had a problem with it. Moved three yrs ago into an existing home with an eclectic glass top range. What a piece of junk. Could not wait to see it go.
Took all about one meal to realize how much we missed cooking with gas. The range and its quality are once again top notch. You won't be disappointed with this one. The griddle and the tri-ring burner with precise simmer are booth awesome.
Highly recommend this unit.

good news/bad news

nice features, dual fuel and all that. good burners on top. but......the smell of the electric oven when first using it is atrocious. it says to run it a few times and the smell goes away. fat chance. i have set it at 400 degrees for 2 hours each time and still atrocious smell. makes me sick to breathe it in. had to evacuate the house. maybe the smell will go away after a year or two.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been cooking on an electric range for a long time and am now so happy to have the gas range! Because we use LP, the convection oven is just perfect for us too. Everything I put in, comes out perfect. Cleans up with just a soapy cloth - just like my other stainless appliances, no special cleaners are needed! I bought the stove, a dishwasher and a frig, and they all look super in my new kitchen.

I bought this and was skeptical because i didn't need all the features but after using I like it. I dont like that it is not dishwasher friendly

I have used this gas stove for three months and am quite happy with the product. It was installed with no issues; the installation kit held everything needed to connect to our line. Baking is great using either the gas or convection options. The griddle took getting used to as I haven't cooked with cast iron very much. Ihave used all the burners and use the left front burner most often. The burner controls are responsive. I have had no issues with the burner knob controls heating up when I use the oven. I have had no issues with the oven heating the adjoining wooden cabinets. I would recommend puting a lite coating of vegtable oil on the grates to season/seal them as you would season a cast iron skillet. The instruction book is well done and I refer to it often. I with a mild solution of SimpleGreen then wipe them dry with a soft towel. I don't use the broiler
