We've owned a P2B940DEFWW range for about two years now and can't say we have any real complaints! We wanted the control of gas on the cook top and the even heating of electric in the oven and this range delivers! We set the gas cook top up for propane which was not a problem and the proper jets were included; Just followed the instructions! The convection feature in the oven is amazing. It really lowers cooking time and gives a nice, even browning to whatever is baking. It works well both in baking and roasting. If you've never used a convection oven, pay attention because it will (pleasantly) surprise you as to how fast things cook. We do agree with the other reviewer about cleaning the cook top elements and grates. The caps on top of the gas burners can also be tough to clean once a spill has baked on, but the gunk will clean off with patience. Fortunately, the finish on these parts doesn't seem to be affected and come back nice and shiny like new. We've used the probe for cooking in the oven and it works but we somehow feel more confident going by cooking time and the 'look' of the food. I guess we're too old school. The lower warming drawer is a very handy thing to have! Since it can go up to baking temps, we've actually used it as a second oven as well. The electronic controls are nice and although the buttons don't 'click', they beep softly and seem to be sensitive enough to give positive feedback and functionality every time. The front burner controls have a quality feel and work well too. Our house is for sale right now and the range will stay. We've had positive comments from folks looking at the house about the range, especially when they realize all that it is and can do! We fully intend to replace any range where we may go with the exact same unit from GE.

Bakes and roasts well.

We have this stove for a month or so and it bakes and roasts well, but we have a problem with the steam clean. The steam clean will not work unless we unplug and than plug the stove back in the stove, so it resets the electronics, and then the steam clean will work.

Dual Fuel SS Range P2B940SEFSS

I am very pleased with the dual fuel SS Range with gray ceramic in the oven and under the burners. It has the industrial look of a high end range. The ceramic under the burners is very easy to clean and the stainless cleans easily, too. The high temp burner works exceptionally well to heat water quickly. There is a learning curve changing from non-convection to a convection oven; however, I love the faster cooking time. I highly recommend this range.

Had a 50 year old Universal 40-inch stove with LOTS of charm but so inefficient and, finally, irreparable. Did alot of research before deciding on this GE stove. Could only find one review (very positive) by someone who owned the same stove so was a bit apprehensive. Been using the stove for about two weeks now and really excited and pleased! Great features. Have used the convection bake, convection roast and warming drawer all with fabulous results! Love the roll rack. The steam self clean is a great option for me due to regular self clean aggravating my asthma. Love the overall look of the stove, as well. Really sharp. A bit expensive so shop around for sales/best price. Happy with purchase and would recommend!

The temperature in the oven doesn't hold, and there is no override for auto shutoff for the warming drawer. The grates are hard to get looking clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
