After reading reviews and bouncing around on which stove to get, I am so glad I chose this one. Oven is quiet, cooks evenly and fast. It is also gorgeous in our newly constructed home.

I bought this stove in July. I have had GE stoves that lasted over 22 years and didn't even consider another brand. I love the slide in style. The bridge zone is great and I love the oversized burner that converts to 3 sizes. It fits my largest pots and frying pans. I used the steam cleaning feature and it's great. Because of the front controls the cooking surface is a little further back from the counter edge than I am used to, but it isn't a problem. It's so easy to keep clean.

From the first time I used the stove top it started leaving white pixels on all the burners! It's still functioning, but looks gross. I figured I'd have to "fight" to get any satisfaction of replacement, so I ignored the problem & I'm living with it. I really hate the ugly appearance, but since the burners are heating up, I'll live with it but won't ever purchase another GE brand appliance.

Finally updated my hodgepodge late 80s-early 90s kitchen with a full GE profile stainless steel kitchen suite: fridge, diswasher, range, & over the range convection-microwave and am so happy! This range looks so slick and it goes with the new streamlined, modern esthetic of the kitchen. I love the fact that the range top extends over slightly so that it covers the "crumb gap" between counter and range--makes for easy clean up. The only caution is that with the ceramic glass cooktop, copper-bottomed and iron cast cookware is not recommended due to scratch-risk. So I had to retire 3 of my much loved and used cookware. Features I like: burner size variation on the range allows for efficient heating of multiple-sized cookware, no messy knobs to get "sticky" or clean around, warming drawer has removable insert for easy cleanup, and love that the oven includes 2 removable shelves and bottom "fixed" shelf is on gliding mechanism that makes for easy movement. There's a meat probe feature that I've yet to try, but even if I never use it, I still feel I made a sound investment product.

I have had this for a couple months ago.
1. The electronic panel is hard to clean. You try to wipe it off and you turn on the burners or the stove.
2. The exhaust in the back of the stove prevents the stove from sliding all the way into the slot in the counter top where the old stove was. The exhaust isn't high enough to slide over the counter top.

I love the range we purchased as a full kitchen remodel this year. It is stainless steel which I love, the cooktop is easy to clean. I love the solid surface, the warming drawer, the regular/convection oven options. The burners are great for a solid surface; they function well, heat up fast and cool down. I'm very impressed. The one thing is that the oven thermometer seems to be off and we will have to get it adjusted. I noticed when moving from 325 to 375 degrees that the temperature had already been reached when changing. This can be very detrimental for temperamental cooking such as flans or cheesecakes which need to be maintained at a lower temp for a longer period of time. But overall I like the oven.

One Burner Has Never Worked

The large fixed size burner (back left) has never worked. If you can live with just 3 working burners, then this is the range for you.

Purchased this GE Profile Range after much research. Am very pleased on how baked foods come out moist. I baked turkey breast for Christmas and it came out so juicy and moist. Even the crust on my pumpkin pie didn't burn as in years past with other ovens. Also easy to clean glass top.
