We bought this range in March and love it! The oven is amazing. It heats up so quickly and cooks food so evenly. The stovetop is super easy to clean.

This stove/oven was part of a new home appliance package. I really like the smooth surface control panel. The only complaint I have is cleaning the cooking surface top. I have tried using a commercial cleaner as well as a home made concoction of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Both do a okay job, but there remains some cooking residue. Any other suggestions? I used to use a razor blade on my old Amana smooth cooking surface stove top but read somewhere not to use razor blades.

Excellent performance and design

This slide-in electric range is working out very well so far. The burners perform well and the oven gives great results both on regular bake and convection bake. I had read other reviews complaining about the sensitivity of the touch panel, but I have not had issues turning on the stove accidentally while cooking. My four-year old has quickly learned which buttons he can or cannot press and the controls are not an issue in our household. I like the ease of adjusting the burner size and heat output quickly. The fan in the oven is very quiet (compared with our previous stove) and that has been such a nice feature. Very happy with our purchase overall and the product lives up to the GE reputation.

Looks nice but I really dislike where the controls are located. Doesn't take much to accidentally turn burners off and on while cooking by simply leaning too close to controls...and I'm not an overweight person...meaning if I had any kind of belly it would be 10 times worse! Controls get covered with grease splatters with simple sautéing and are difficult to clean.....otherwise burners and oven seem to work well so far....very happy with size of oven

review of my new GE profile series stove

constantly cleaning the top of this stove, always looks smeared and filmy. I like a clean easy to care for stove and I actually do no like cooking on it, it takes more time to clean than to cook the whole meal Oven was 75 degrees higher then the set temp ie. 350 was 425 had to have someone come to fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some Good and Some Disappointing

Have had a few months now. Love the look, low profile and not having knobs on the back. But challenging to clean the control panel even when locked, beeps the whole time, annoying. The burners heat quickly and I like the ability to change the size I need. The oven is slow to pre-heat

I have had this radiant glass cooktop for about 3 months. It comes up to boil really fast and with so many temperatures available between 1-10 you can cook as fast or as slow as you want. The one con is that greasy foods cause a clean up mess that doesn't just wipe clean with one sweep of the soapy sponge. You need special cleaners and utensils for cleaning so that you don't scratch the cooktop. Cooks fabulously and many unique features for bigger meals.
