We debated hard and long whether to purchase a slide-in or standard model.
The slide-in was absolutely the right one. It makes our 15 year old house truly look like it has a new kitchen. Love the LOCK feature for the digital controls on the panel and the porcelain racks which can be self-cleaned.

Terrible cook top.

I bought this because it was very attractive. I had no idea it would be so difficult to clean the glass cook top. It can take 15 to 20 minutes to clean. I don't ever want to fry anything on it. I wish I could exchange it for something else.

Does not fit

This may be a fine stove however it does not fit our counter space. We replaced a GE profile stove purchased in 2002 with our new house. Removed this profile and bought the new profile....should fit right in, right? Different stovetop dimensions leave spaces on either side of the stove. What now GE?

Beautiful and sleek looking

I chose this range for our brand new home. We have not used it yet but like the way it looks. One disappointment for me is how dim the oven light is. The stove I sold with my previous home had a really large, bright light in it and it was very easy to see through the door. GE needs to get with the program and upgrade the light. I don't believe mine has a halogen light. It is too dim. The top element is exposed as well and not hidden like the bottom heating element. Come on, GE. Join the 21st century. I hope these are the only disappointments I have in this expensive supposed high end range.

We are upgrading all of our appliances as we remodel our kitchen. This stove has brought a very updated look to our kitchen.

Because I have a convection oven in my microwave, I rarely use this oven. I used it three times since it was delivered 9 months ago, and then it no longer worked. GE did replace my new one today, and I hope it doesn't have the same issue 9 months from now. I will update my review if I can in a few months from now, after I use it several times.

Oven light works....so i got that going for me

4/30/16- just had the range delivered and installed at 11a. Worked for less then 1 hour. The control panel died while i was testing the features. The oven light works when i open the door so i got that going for me......
