This is one beautiful range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a dual fuel gas range, to replace our ceramic cook top electric range (yuck), and checked out all of the competing brands. Bosch was an easy choice!
Beyond the stunning appearance, with the sleek look and brushed stainless steel, we were particularly taken with the continuous grate cook-top. Five burners is a definite plus as well. Our old electric range only had four burners and a small, cramped, cooking surface that was definitely not conducive to cooking with multiple pots and pans. With the knobs and control panel located low, on the front of the range, we don't have to reach over hot pots and pans to make adjustments. Speaking of controls, I like the infinite control you get with gas. Its on or its off, no warm-up! No control panel in the back means more cooking surface ... I mean that's what the top of a range is for, right?
The burner controls are beefy and have heft to them not seen on other ranges. The control panel is intuitive and easy to use and cleans up with a damp cloth. The convection oven is huge and has four wire racks with positions for 7 different rack locations in what looks to be 3 inch increments. I see there is an internal probe to monitor internal cooking temperatures, with automatic shut off. Sweet! I haven't use that feature yet, but I look forward to it. I see it also as a warming oven. I don't use that feature, but it does give me a place to store cookie sheets, etc.
Installation of the range was a snap. Just hook up the natural gas lines, plug in the 220V power cable and install the various small components and you're up and running. The interesting thing is the stove slid into the existing opening between two granite countertops like a glove! Right width, right height.
I'm looking to many happy cooking experiences and am getting a big pot of Gumbo ready right now. Thanks Bosch!

Great new design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second bosche stove and the operation panel on this one is much better than the way the older one worked. You had to dial through all the modes to get to the one you wanted. All you do is push a button on this one. This one is easir to work..

Originally I selected what turned out to be a mistake (probably because of the hectic move that included recovering from a broken hip and femur). When my Bosch slide-in, duel fuel range was installed it was to me, like poetry; every detail was perfect, no fluff, no filler, no excess, just pure poetry. Rhyme, rhythm and cadence created in the oven. Beautiful.

Excellent range - inside and out

We were redoing our kitchen and wanted a slide in that would eliminate the cracks between the counter and the range. This fits great, it looks great, and best of all, it functions perfectly.
