OUTSTANDING RANGE!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my duel fuel slide in range 3 weeks ago. I researched a lot of top brands before deciding on Bosch. The quality of the range is second to none! I am a husband that does 99% of the cooking in our house. The feel of the heavy control knobs and smooth operating oven door and slide racks is awesome. This is a range that would recommend to anyone in the market! GREAT JOB BOSCH!! Thank you

Many problems as delivered but under warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago. Fortunately all of the problems that it has as delivered did not prevent me from using the basic functions of the gas burners and the electric over. But it does not inspire much confidence in the quality control. So far, to correct the problems we detected at delivery and installation, they have replaced several of the electronics boards including the one behind the display. They are about to replace the warming drawer because this one is crooked. But since I have been able to continue to use it I can review the design and features.
Because of deficiencies in my previous dual fuel range, a Dacor, it was important for me to have a burner that would simmer. This range has two small burners that are excellent for simmering. Regarding the other burners, I am finding that the right front burner, the position I am used to using for most cooking, works fine if the pan is big enough. But compared to my Dacor burner I find I cannot use certain pots on it because of the physical size; the flames lick up the sides of the pot. So if you want high heat on a small pot you don't have a good option. Otherwise the burner design is fine.
As others have noted, keeping the stainless top clean - the area around the burners - is a full time job and it is easy to scratch it.
The oven and broiler have done everything I have asked them to do so far. The broiler is quick and hot. The oven has done a good job baking several loaves of bread at the same time.
I love the way the oven light comes on when the door is opened. I am surprised to find that I love the warming oven - great for warming the dinner plates.
I don't understand why the stove is made to stick out in front of the counter. Is that to make it seem like some kind of pro stove? I don't get the point, either functionally or aesthetically.
Since every range reviewed on the internet has flaws and imperfections and vulnerabilities I really did not expect this one to be trouble-free. I just hope all of the problems are within the warranty period.

Somewhat Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using for over 6 months now so I feel like I can honestly review. GAS COOKTOP: Pro - beautiful, easy to clean/keep clean. Con - burner grates sit entirely too high from burner for efficient heating/cooking, knobs only decrease flame if turned to low first and then back up to desired level. OVEN: Very inconsistent heating when baking. (I will be purchasing an oven thermometer to check temps before making any adjustments or calling for service.) I am an avid baker and have not been able to get cookies to bake consistently from one pan to the next using identical pans and bake times. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek design and efficient cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few weeks ago to go with our kitchen remodel. Since the countertops and cabinets have finally arrive, we are not getting to use it. Lots of convenient settings, but the most important aspect is the performance. And so far it has been very good. I love the arrangement of the burners. I used the convection feature to roast a chicken, and it turned out great. Quite satisfied overall.

Good oven, Good stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall good, not perfect, though. Preheating takes forever unless the "fast preheat" button is used. The fast preheat also needs to be used if you need to raise the heat by 25 degrees or so. Bosch should figure out how to make the oven heat up faster.

Love every aspect of my new range!

The range top is well designed, and the five burners are nicely arranged making this 30" range seem larger than my previous one. The convection oven and broiler work like a charm too!

Love this stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this stove for six months and love it. The big test was Thanksgiving I had all five burners going and the oven full and not one issue. The self cleaning cycle worked great and did not heat up (or smell up ) the house at all. No regrets at all.
