[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this range for about ten months, and it general it is good. I am a bit disappointed at how long it takes to boil water for pasta on even the most powerful burner (in the middle) however. If I had thought more before buying, I might have picked a range that had flames coming out of the center of the burner as well and not only from the sides of the burner, which seems to send a lot of heat up the sides of the pots. Also I am a little surprised at how far down the flames are from the bottom of the pans. This seems to be true of many ranges, and perhaps it is a good thing (I don't know the reason for it), but given the slow speed of boiling water, I eave my doubts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sure I was going to love this range with gas stove top and electric oven and bonus warming tray but it falls disappointingly short. The grates are heavy and nice. The overall look is great and the features are everything I wanted. The burners do not have a warming or simmer feature. To create delicate sauces that require a small amount of heat, I am forced to turn the burner off an on and stand by so that they don't boil themselves to death. You just cannot turn the flame down low enough for a gentle simmer and it is very frustrating. Everything turns into a full boil. The oven takes twice as long to bake anything as it did in any oven I've ever owned. I have to adjust all my recipes or food is undercooked. These are major issues that will effect my enjoyment of the range for as long as I have it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dual fuel range about a month and have used most of the features now. We previously had an electric stovetop but have wanted a gas stovetop forever. In our recent kitchen remodel, we had gas brought in from another place in our house. We decided to get an electric oven because we have heard that gas ovens sometimes do not cook as evenly as electric. So this dual fuel setup was perfect for us. We love having 5 burners of three different sizes. I have never had a warming drawer before, and I used it recently when I made corn bread muffins earlier in the day and kept them warm until our dinner party -- they stayed warm and moist and yummy. The size of the oven is also larger than our previous built-in model, which became obvious when we were able to put two pies side by side on the same level, and two muffin tins next to each other as well. We also like the digital keypad right in front of the stove, so we don't have to reach over burners to use it. I see that if someone had kids (ours are grown), it is possible to lock the digital keypad which I would think essential to keep kids from playing with it. The stovetop also seems incredibly easy to clean -- something my husband has noticed and he's been cleaning it which is great. So, all in all, we are really thrilled with this range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven bakes evenly and for predictable time periods. The fifth burner on the stove top is terrific. We love this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this stove just in time for Christmas. Thoroughly tested with a couple of roasts and lots of cookies and pies. Very happy with the results. No guess work, easy to use....looking forward to many other successful eats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me count the ways: 1. dual fuel--wonderful option! 2. easy to use features 3. knob controls work smoothly 4. easy to clean around burners 5. stylish and sleek look (One thought, however: would like it if the touchpad panel could be lit...it's hard to read)
