Smooth As Silk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Bosch convection oven for a month and although I was a little confused at first by the external breeze the fan produces, I have quickly taken it's ease and even cooking completely for granted. It is both flush with features and extremely simple and intuitive to use. So far, I'm absolutely delighted with my very modern choice!

Easy Baking

Bosch 800 Oven Learnings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We still have not taken advantage of all the features such as the meat probe and the self cleaning. We do a lot of baking and the even tempature in the oven is great. We have measured the tempature in various parts of the oven and found the same reading. Unfortunately we have found that the tempature reading is about 25 degrees less that the oven setting. This appears to be the case at all setting we have tested. We looked at the user guide and did not find any information about tempature adjustments. We have not called the service support line yet as we want to get a new thermometer to validate our findings.

Terrible Oven

Oven is always heated to 10-50 degrees below the setting
Light burned out but is impossible to replace according to manual
Timer emits an almost inaudible single ding almost impossible to hear

Single Wall Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Bosch oven for a wile I like it. The problem with this oven the back light. When they're not working any more, it is very, very hard to open the outside Glass cover to take them out. And it happened many time the light all the sudden not working any more. My old oven when I purchase my home it was over 60 years old and I use it for 6 years never have any problem with it. The only reason I update my appliance because I upper grade my kitchen and got all stainless steel appliance.
To grab the glass and open the aria to get to the light is not designed well at all and did not have enough space to grab on. Also the light should not go out that often??

Good oven, but expected more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an attractive looking oven which works well. However, given its price point, I expected more from the oven. I've encountered several issues with the oven:
-New oven odor persisted for a long time. It took 20 hours of operation before the odor began to "burn off". The manual does point out the new oven smell problem - but 20 hours is not a reasonable amount of time to solve the problem.
-Noisy operation - oven buzzes when in operation
-The timer buzzer is very hard to hear - you can only hear it if you're standing in front of the oven - not ideal functionality.
-Broiler doesn't appear to operate evenly.

Great if the probe worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't get the probe to work. Have you read the instructions? It tells you to insert the probe into the meat and the probe indicator will show in the panel, THEN insert probe into oven. Seriously? I have tried all different variations and can't get it to work. The only other issue is sometimes the button sensors take a few tries to work. Not sure if it's because my hands are wet sometimes or what but they don't always respond on the first touch. Otherwise happy.
