Modern Utility GT- great backpack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyday backpack for work, easily fits my laptop, tablet, notebooks/books, water bottle and lunch. Also has an organizer for pens etc. in the front pocket- which also has RFID protection. The laptop compartment is well padded, and the pack's bottom is water resistant.

My new favorite bag

It fits my MacBook Pro perfectly and is super comfortable to wear. There's a band to keep it on your luggage so it's also great to travel with. Buy this bag now and thank me later.

One of the best backpacks I've owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this Backpack for a couple of weeks now. It has been one of the nicest I've had. Before this, I've owned two other back packs, the one I used until it started to come apart on me, and the other I have used for both outdoor rugged travel and simple carrying of my electronics from one place to another. In comparison to those two backpacks, this one definitely is of better quality and is great for my electronics. It's now become my new favorite! It also has nice side cup holders that fit perfectly my Contigo 20 oz. water bottle. Inside, the spaces for your electronics are covered in a very soft fabric that even if you didn't have cases on your devices would keep them nice and safe without risk of scratches. The carrying handle on top is nice and smooth and easy to handle. Even though the bag is meant to go on your back as a back pack, because I love the top handle feel, I tend to hold it like that more often. It has a stylish look to it as well. I was not aware of this Backpack before getting it to test out, but I'm so glad I have the opportunity because I love it now! I would definitely recommend it to others.

Tough but comfortable backpack for laptop and a lot more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to bring a lot of stuff back and forth from home to work and back again and the Samsonite Modern Utility GT laptop backpack has done an admirable job keeping all of my stuff in one place. My laptop fits safely and snugly in one pocket, there's space for my phone and tablet, along with plenty of space for papers, folders, books and a writing pad. It has stood up well to the rough and tumble nature of being carried, of being put in the car and of just being banged around. The materials are tough and the overall quality of the bag seems quite high. The zippers all work well and I haven't had any problems with them wearing out or getting stuck. The dark blue color of my bag is unassuming and isn't out of place in situations where I have this bag. Since I tend to carry at least some of of my office around with me, the space in this bag is quite welcome. It has combined what used to be a laptop bag and several other canvas bags into one backpack that is easier to carry and probably in the long run, more durable. It also means it takes up less space when I'm traveling and it's easier to store in the car, at home or at the office. I've also used the bag to carry my electronics and if I clean out some of the books and papers, there's more than enough room in the main compartment for a night or two worth of clothes, so it has doubled as an overnight bag when I've had to travel for work. I like being able to combine a couple of different functions into one bag. Wearing the backpack is quite comfortable. It has a cushioned back and slightly cushioned straps. Overall even when it's quite full, I can easily carry the bag around. It also has a nice top strap that you can grab and just carry the bag that way. Overall for me a win win with this bag - high quality materials, durable, comfortable and with plenty of space. This backpack will continue to have a place in making sure I am able to carry all that I need around.
