I cannot seem to get the griddle to maintain its temperature. Once 350 degrees is reached and the first batch of pancakes is cooked, the griddle becomes hotter on its own. The second batch of pancakes burn. Also, the middle of the griddle is much hotter than the sides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I read a lot of reviews about griddles with uneven cooking before I found great reviews for this one. And they were right... this griddle cooks so evenly. The pancakes I made came out with even color from edge to edge. The surface is very durable and easy to clean since it removes completely from the base. And it is a nice large generous size, with more heating coils than most, and they can also be removed from the base.
I was a little hesitant to spend the extra money for this griddle, but I am so glad I did because it is definitely a step above any other griddle on the market. You won't be disappointed if you decide to purchase this griddle.

Perfect for making large breakfast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have such a small kitchen with limited counter space so this comes in so handy when I’m trying to make breakfast for everyone. With its large cooking space I am able to put multiple items on and cook them at once. It runs on electric so it frees up my gas stove top. Included lid keeps the items warm. Easy to clean.
