Pancake Perfection!

I’ve owned this griddle for over a year and it makes the most perfect pancakes. The pancakes brown so evenly and the nonstick finish is great. I’ve made eggs, bacon, pork chops, grilled cheese, sausages, and Reuben sandwiches. Everything comes out perfect. Love this griddle. Highly recommended!

Worked well until the temperature control failed. How can zojirushi sell full units and not stock replacement parts. Cannot recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love the Zojirushi-Gourmet Sizzler Electric Griddle! This is by far my favorite griddle that I’ve ever owned. It has a deep and extra large cooking surface which allows you to cook anything from pancakes to chicken. The surface heats up evenly with no hot spots and it also comes with a lid to trap the heat in. We seared up some steaks which came out delicious and the clean up was a breeze with the non stick surface. I highly recommend this griddle you won’t be disappointed.

Big cooking surface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brings back memories of camping and cooking on the skillet my parents had. This one though is a step above. I very much like the big cooking surface. You have plenty of room to make multiple pancakes or burgers
The cleaning up is easy. I like that the griddle part unattacheds from the heating element and can be submerged under water. The surface of the griddle seems like it won't scratch easily. I made turkey burgs on it and used the metal flipper it came with and the surface looked just as good as it did when I started. I did find it hard to find a place in my home for it because of it's size. I would definitely say keep the box it comes in and store the griddle in a pantry or closet.

Need to get used to heat settings since 350degF resulted in dark pancakes. Found SS spatula to be useless since sharp corners have tendency to get caught in the embossed pattern making flipping pancakes difficult! Found that thin bladed TEFLON spatula with rounded corners to be much better.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with your electric griddle. We recommend adding the pancake batter as soon as the little lamp on the temperature control turns off. That way the batter doesn't cool down the cooking surface too much. The spatula included with the griddle is made for okonomiyaki so it's not the best for regular pancakes. It's best to use a silicone spatula so that you have a better handle at flipping the pancakes without scratching the surface of the griddle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a well made product. Perfect for pancakes, sausage or whatever you like to griddle. Spacious and super easy to clean. My only negative is that yo would not ant to do bacon on this. There is no drip pan or anything to catch grease.
