I read a lot of reviews about griddles with uneven cooking before I found great reviews for this one. And they were right... this griddle cooks so evenly. The pancakes I made came out with even color from edge to edge. The surface is very durable and easy to clean since it removes completely from the base. And it is a nice large generous size, with more heating coils than most, and they can also be removed from the base.
I was a little hesitant to spend the extra money for this griddle, but I am so glad I did because it is definitely a step above any other griddle on the market. You won't be disappointed if you decide to purchase this griddle.

This wonderful and beautifully made Electric Griddle now has a place of honor in my kitchen.
I'd been missing my old cast iron griddle but the 5 burners atop my range didn't quite cover it so heating it uniformly was not possible. I read many reviews from many buyers of electric griddles and found this Zojirushi model had the highest ratings - and to further my confidence in buying an appliance without physically handling it first Zojirushi posted a very succinct and easy to follow video of how to use and care for this particular electric griddle. It couldn't be simpler to use and the cooking surface easily wiped clean with no burned blueberry pancake residue left behind with just a damp paper towel. Plus, the very precisely crafted stainless steel spatula that was included with the griddle worked perfectly to lift and flip the pancakes with no tears or need to pry them loose. The cooking surface was 100% evenly heated so I was able to make several smaller pancakes at the same time.

I love this product and have been using constantly since purchased. Pancakes, hashbrowns, sausages, smash burgers, stirfrys, sauteing veggies, pot stickers, roti (indian flat bread), etc. Heats evenly and is a breeze to clean. I already had some smaller stainless cloches that I use to cover smaller quantities of food. Can't wait to try pita and english muffins....
