Perfect rice, great warmer, easy to clean

I've been cooking lots of rice the past few years on a stove as I buy big bags of it through my local warehouse club. It always tasted pretty good, but I always had to discard 10%-20% because it ended up too wet or too dry on the surfaces of the pan. Now this versatile little rice cooker makes a perfect batch of Basmati rice, through and through. And I love how long the warmer keeps the rice warm and fresh. I'm now baking a brownie cake and later tonight will be setting the timer so my oatmeal is freshly made when I get up for work in the morning. Even though made in China, the quality and fit and finish of this unit seem very good. A nice design. Time will tell about the durability. Great size for a smaller family. Easy to clean. Takes away any stress about cooking up a good batch of rice to compliment the main dish. This really is a convenient appliance I think will get lots of use.

The cake recipe in the instructions was obviously not tested before being published because the cake was awful but the rice function works wonderfully!! My rice is fluffy and delicious. More research will have to be done for the other functions.
