Perfect rice, great warmer, easy to clean

I've been cooking lots of rice the past few years on a stove as I buy big bags of it through my local warehouse club. It always tasted pretty good, but I always had to discard 10%-20% because it ended up too wet or too dry on the surfaces of the pan. Now this versatile little rice cooker makes a perfect batch of Basmati rice, through and through. And I love how long the warmer keeps the rice warm and fresh. I'm now baking a brownie cake and later tonight will be setting the timer so my oatmeal is freshly made when I get up for work in the morning. Even though made in China, the quality and fit and finish of this unit seem very good. A nice design. Time will tell about the durability. Great size for a smaller family. Easy to clean. Takes away any stress about cooking up a good batch of rice to compliment the main dish. This really is a convenient appliance I think will get lots of use.

I have had three Zojirushi rice cookers over the years. As with all Zojirushi rice cookers, this one is excellent. I bought this one to use at the office! I noticed the "pot" that the rice cooks in is thicker than my old rice cooker's. This one has a detachable power cord instead of a retractable one. The interior lid is easy to take out and put back, and stays solidly in place when it's supposed to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely amazing product! This Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer is the absolute best I've ever had. The very best tasting Rice that I've ever had, and I eat my family eat lots of rice. So many settings for different types of rice and even steel cut oatmeal. Trileptal Heater with Extra Large Heating Element. Heats and warms Rice from the bottom, side and top. Makes up to 3 cups. Multiple Menu Settings are for white/sushi, brown rice, log grain white, steel cut oatmeal, quinoa, cake. I'm still learning about the different settings. Easy to to use lcd control panel. Removable and washable inner lid. I highly recommend this product. You will just love it!

Best Rice cooker I've ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker did not disappoint! I have tried rice cookers in the past and was let down and quit using them. The first thing is I love the amount if rice you can cook at 1 time up to 3 cups so perfect amount for my family. I really like the rice is cooked throughout the whole cooking surface so the rice cooks evenly. I also like that it keeps it warm to so easy to get the rest of your dinner cooked up. The rice cooked great and came out fluffy and not clumpy. This has a nice display so it's easy to figure out what mode of cooking you need. The inside lid is easy clean and so is the rest of the cooker. This does so much more than rice like long grain and Oatmeal and so much more that I can't wait to try out. This takes cooking time so much easier and that is the best part! This is a good size but doesn't take up the whole counter .

Measure, rinse, fill and go. The rice comes out fluffy and soft. Love the keep warm and sound feature,and you can set to silent. One thing I would change is a smaller spatula to fit inside when not in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried a rice cooker before and I noticed we are eating rice more often so I decided to try a rice cooker and it makes life so much easier. You just fill it as to how much you want to cook and set it and forget it and it cooks the rice nice and fluffy and also keeps it warm just in case the rest of dinner isn't quite ready. This cooker will cook up to 3 cups which is great for me and my husband. This will cook quite a few things, rice, oats, quinoa and it even says cake but I haven't tried that. Clean up is a breeze and it's not to big so doesn't take up to much room. I love tools that help make cooking easier and this is one of them
